Story
Yu-Ichi was a stray found and taken in when he was only two years old. He's lived with me for a year but does not get along with other cats. He's extremely lovable and will cuddle with you, but he may have to be an only-cat.

Story
Once she warms up, Della loves to be near the action. She's a healthy eater and likes treats. Her favorite place to sleep is near a window where she can survey the neighborhood. Della came to the rescue with 4 kittens and she was a great mom. All her kittens were adopted but Della is still waiting for her furever home. Della loves head scratches and pets when it's her idea (usually when you're sitting still somewhere) but she's not a lap cat or snuggler. She does fine with other cats. She's very playful and sometimes even acrobatic.

Story
Part of our larger "bird" kitten crew, sisters Owl (grey tabby female) and Chickadee (grey female) came into our care when they both had litters of kittens at the same time. They were great moms and are now happy to be retired from parenting. They are good friends and are looking for a quiet home together. Having grown up outside and only around humans some, they are still wary of human interaction. They would need patient humans who can steadily earn their trust and respect boundaries, with no guarantees of their eventual dispositions. Owl is a little more outgoing than her sister Chickadee and will tolerate some pets while enjoying treats. Owl is at the lounge, so you can visit her there during open hours. She may be hard to spot though as she'll be securely tucked in a hiding spot away from all the activity.

Story
Calm - Friendly - Cuddly While Baguette started out shy and nervous, she quickly adjusted to being in her foster house. Now she loves getting pets and attention and happily cuddles when her fosters sit next to her. Even during playtime she’s often more interested in giving and receiving affection while her foster siblings are busy playing, although she certainly still has a playful side. She hasn’t climbed into our laps yet, but she’s put a paw up on our leg before and given her loving nature we think it’s possible, although not guaranteed, that she could eventually become a lap cat. Baguette’s fur is extremely long, soft, and majestic and she loves having it brushed, but it is prone to matts and she sheds a lot, so it will require care and possibly regular trips to a groomer. She frequently cuddles with her foster sister Brioche, and they would be a great pair to adopt together.

Story
Come visit the "Bean Crew" at the lounge kitten room! (Normal lounge hours are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 3pm to 8pm but please check Facebook for holiday or inclement weather closings.) Edamame is the shy but sweet mom of this crew. She loves to rub against her human's legs for attention and pets, but she grew up outside so is still a little skittish with being approached. Her kittens include: Butter Bean (male, orange): sweet w/lap cat tendencies Chili Bean (female, tabico): playful and friendly Pinto Bean (female, brown tabby w/white): playful, meowy, loves pets and wet food Magic Bean (female, brown tabby): playful and friendly And her adopted kittens are: Adzuki Bean (female, black): sweet Fava Bean (female, black): shy Appletini (female, brown tabby): purr machine when you find her in her hiding place and give her pets, very sweet Lima Bean (female, brown tabby, not quite ready for adoption): outgoing and vocal, loves pets and attention, gives "kisses"
