Meet Anubis!Anubis is a shy, sensitive girl with a quiet desire for connection. She wants attention and affection but can be easily startled, so she’s looking for a calm, patient home where she can move at her own pace. Once she feels safe, Anubis enjoys gentle companionship and being near her people.Anubis would do best in a home with teens and older, and she’s hoping to be the only pet—no cats or dogs—so she can truly relax and build confidence. With time, understanding, and a soft approach, Anubis has the potential to form a deep and meaningful bond.If you’re someone who believes the most rewarding relationships are built slowly, Anubis may be the perfect match for you.The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $75.00FELV/FIV Testing provided for an additional fee of $35.00. Story
Ruby was estimated to be 2-3 weeks old when found in a vacant house around Nov. 2020. A friend and I fostered her to health and I adopted her from Kitty Queen after she was spayed, chipped, and made current on shots. We raised her with other cats and she has had some experience living with dogs. I'm hoping, though, to find a home with at most one other cat as she has not done well living with other pets. Ruby is very playful and affectionate, but uses her claws when playing and does not enjoy being held. I have a water fountain, auto feeder, toys/scratching post, etc. to go with her if desired. She prefers drinking from a fountain and is best fed 3x a day in small servings. On a final note, Ruby has had a lengthy vet history due to excessive vomiting. However, she has been doing great with her current food, a small amount of laxatone 2x a week, and regular brushing. I don't want to see her go, but my job often involves lengthy work trips and I have had trouble finding care while away.

Story
Hi, I’m Wally! I’m a 1-year-old sweetheart who’s ready for a little more room to stretch my legs—and my heart. I’m a friendly, easygoing guy who gets along well with other cats and truly enjoys their company. Having friends around makes me feel happy and relaxed, whether we’re lounging together or just sharing the same space.I’m also a very affectionate boy. I love attention, gentle pets, and being near my people. The kennel has been a bit tough for me because I really thrive when I have space to explore, move around, and settle in comfortably. Give me an open room and some love, and I’ll show you just how wonderful I can be.I’m looking for a home where I can roam, relax, and be part of a family—human and feline alike. If you’re searching for a loving companion who’s social, cuddly, and ready to blossom in a real home, I think I’d be a perfect fit.The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Cost: $75.00FELV/FIV Testing provided for an additional fee of $35.00. Story
Hi, I’m Junco. I’m a 6-month-old grey kitten, and I’m still figuring this whole “being a cat” thing out. I’ve been at the shelter for quite a while, but it took me some time to feel brave enough to meet the world properly. I came in with my siblings, and we were all pretty scared at first, so the humans waited until I was ready before telling everyone I was looking for a home. I’m still a little shy, especially with new people or new places, but I’m learning more every day. Once I feel safe, I like to watch, follow along, and quietly join in. I do best when I have another cat around—someone confident who can show me the ropes, like how to play, how to relax, and how to be a cat without worrying so much. Having a feline friend makes me feel much braver.I’m looking for a patient, gentle home where I can go at my own pace and always have another cat by my side. If you believe the best friendships are built slowly and that small steps are still big wins, I think we might be a really good match. One of the biggest and most exciting times in anyone`s life is adopting a new kitten! Cats can live well over 12 years, and will need a lifetime of love, care, commitment, and patience. Before plunging into kitten parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a kitten, but there are also many requirements. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial feline distemper combination vaccination- first deworming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)-24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption Fee: $120.00FELV/FIV testing offered for additional cost of $35.00.
