Hi Y'all, I am Kit, a sweet kitten according to my foster mom but shy. She picks me up but I want to get down after a period of time. I am building up my confidence in humans and slowly I hope to be not as shy and cuddlier like my sisters. Please see how sweet I am..... you'll love me so much. Meet Henry - The Perfect Lap Cat! He is an incredibly sweet white and gray neutered male tabby. Henry is approximately 1 to 2 years old according to the vet. He is a healthy cat, FELV/FIV/HW negative, up to date on vaccines (rabies, FELV) and flea/tick meds. He is the sweetest cat we have ever met! Henry loves nothing more than to sit/sleep next to you or preferably on your lap. He was great at the vet. They took blood, urine, and fecal samples, he received multiple shots, and they trimmed his nails. He handled it all with grace and style! He loves human attention, snoozing in a lap, and eats his cat food well. He also does great with the litter box. He weighs 10.4 pounds and has a beautiful soft coat. Very little shedding too. He lets you brush him as well. He was at a potential forever home over the holidays but their previously feral cat didn’t warm up. Henry, although larger, was never aggressive or even hissed. They said he would just walk away or ignore the cat. Henry is a super calm, chill cat. We think he would do best at a quiet house, or at least needs a quiet, safe space/room. We are not sure how he would do with dogs or small children. (Probably fine as long as the energy level isn’t too high.) His introduction to the new house should occur gradually, especially if other animals are involved. Please remember cats get acclimated on their own schedule, not yours. Henry really should teach a class to other cats on "How to Cat" because he is truly the best! We know you will fall in love with him immediately. Shadow loves to sit on your lap, snuggle and sleep with you. He is the bestest snuggler ever. And he runs to you for snuggles and head rubs. You will not have to worry about sleeping alone without a fur baby nuzzled next to you. He will be stuck like glue to you at night. You will learn to share your couch, chair, laptop, bathroom...just about everything in your daily routine. Shadow will become your little shadow furrrever.
