Story
Vanya is small, bright, deeply affectionate, and wonderfully expressive. Her specialty is the “head hug”: she settles close, kneads gently, reaches a paw toward your face, and makes it perfectly clear that you belong to her. Small orange female. Very affectionate and communicative. Loves close contact, gentle attention, and kitty cookies. Agile and curious; she has been an effective hunter when outdoors. A person or family who wants genuine companionship and enjoys a cat who participates in daily life. She will reward kindness with a remarkable amount of affection.

Story
Paddie was adopted by Claudine (deceased wife) while she was working with Best Friends as a kitten care specialist. We have raised (5) kittens together. Two have already been adopted. They are indoor-outdoor kids, accustomed to using indoor cat boxes with clay litter. They are fully socialized, very friendly. Paddie is the alpha cat kid - the others defer to him because he is the leader of this family of felines. He is extremely clean and cozy. Paddie — Padraigh Harrington when formality is required — is the senior statesman of the household. He is smart, particular, affectionate, and carries himself with the calm assurance of a fellow who knows exactly who he is. About 12 years old. Orange male. Affectionate head-butts. Loves crunchy kitty cookies and delicately chewing cardboard edges. Experienced indoor/outdoor cat and accomplished mouser. Important dietary note: Paddie is allergic to salmon. Someone who appreciates an intelligent, independent cat and will find him companionable.

Story
Gaston la Gaffe is everyone's friend. He follows, purrs, head-butts, curls close, and occasionally gives the gentlest exploratory nibble — his peculiar way of checking that his person is still properly assembled. Orange male. Friendly, curious, cuddly, and highly people-oriented. Loves face and ear strokes and likes being close to his person. During Claudine's final days, Gaston stayed near her and quietly kept watch. A home where companionship is welcomed — someone who enjoys a cat nearby while reading, working, watching television, or simply sitting quietly. Gaston has a great deal of company to give.

Nova is a very mellow cat, she sleeps a lot. She loves snuggles. She has been the only pet in our house with no other cats or dogs. Nova ALWAYS goes potty in the litter box.

Story
Chauncey means "chance" or "fortune," proving exactly what this kitten is about. A kitten who could hop into your life full of love, affection, and cuteness. Chauncey is as sweet as they come, with soft chirping meows and deep purrs. Finding most comfort right next to your side, he is sure to give you that good luck you may need in your life. Adopt and bring home a Chaunce of good luck today! "Hi! My name is Chauncey! I'm a bit of an awkward kitten. New things can be a little scary, and sometimes I need a minute to figure out what exactly is going on. I really, really like other cats and want to be their friend... I'm just not entirely sure how the whole playing thing works yet. I'm still learning! I'm incredibly sweet once I feel safe, and I have the cutest little chirp-meow that I use when I have something very important to say. I may be a little shy and awkward, but underneath it all I'm just a gentle baby looking for someone patient enough to let me come out of my shell. I might not be the boldest kitten in the room, but I promise I have a whole lot of love to give!"
