Story
This is our Toothless girl. Her birthday is September 30th, 2018. She is a very sweet cat, never scratches or bites people and great with kids, but she’s very shy and does not like other dogs or cats. She loves to cuddle and get attention and look out the window. We adopted her from the shelter as a kitten but since adding a dog to our home and another cat she has not done well or been happy. We are also having to move next month and we just cannot take her with us. We rent and are only allowed 2 pets total. Seeing as how she is just not happy with the additional pets and would be so much happier in a home where she’s the only pet and gets all the love and less of the stress, we decided to try to find her a new loving family.

Story
Looking for a natural pest control expert who prefers a job over a lap? This hard-working kitty is ready to join your barn, stable, workshop, or outdoor property as a dedicated rodent manager. Independent, alert, and motivated, this cat thrives with space to roam and a safe spot to sleep—no cuddles required (unless someday they decide otherwise!). They’re ideal for adopters who want a low-maintenance partner who will help keep pests in check while enjoying the freedom of an outdoor lifestyle. In return for their service, all they ask for is fresh food, clean water, shelter, and respect for their independent spirit. If you need a skilled, self-sufficient working cat to join your team, email us today at utahtnr@bestfriends.org

Story
Meet Ferrix, an adult black cat with a gentle heart and a shy, sensitive nature. He’s the kind of boy who prefers to hang back at first, quietly watching and learning his surroundings before stepping into the spotlight. Ferrix does best with patience, calm energy, and people who understand that trust takes time. As he settles in, his sweet personality begins to shine through in small but meaningful ways — a soft glance, a slow blink, a quiet moment shared nearby. If you’re looking for a tender, understated companion who will blossom in a peaceful home, Ferrix would love the chance to meet you. *Ferrix is temporarily living in a foster home until they find their family. If you would like to meet Ferrix, we recommend scheduling an appointment with one of our Adoptions Specialists, so we can ensure they are here to meet you when you arrive. Please click “Adopt Ferrix” to complete an interest survey and one of our Adoptions Specialists will connect with you to set up an appointment!* Visit the Best Friends Lifesaving Center in Salt Lake City or email utahadoptions@bestfriends.org to meet him.

Story
Meet Spice Girl, a unique long-haired calico with star power all her own. This older lady has the wisdom, confidence, and unmistakable flair of someone who knows exactly who she is — and she’s ready to tell you what she wants, what she really, really wants: a calm, loving home where she can reign supreme. Spice Girl is FIV+, and she would prefer to be the one and only feline queen of her castle. She isn’t interested in sharing the spotlight with other cats — after all, every icon deserves her solo era. What she does want is a peaceful environment, cozy lounging spots, and humans who appreciate a little glamour mixed with quiet companionship. She enjoys chin scritches and affection on her terms, carries herself with dignified charm, and is perfectly content living the refined life — think less world tour, more “Viva Forever” vibes on a soft couch. If you’re ready to add a little spice (and a lot of personality) to your life, Spice Girl is ready to be your forever headliner. Visit the Best Friends Lifesaving Center in Salt Lake City or TEXT (385) 405-5145 to meet them.
