Story
Meet ELMER, affectionately known as Gluestick: small kitten, big personality, and absolutely no respect for the safety of blanket-covered feet.Elmer is a 4-month-old brown tabby with a big personality packed into a tiny kitten body! This handsome little guy came to WCAS as a stray after being discovered hiding out in a chicken coop - likely looking for a warm place to nap and maybe hoping a snack would magically appear, too. Safe to say, Elmer knows how to make the most of an opportunity! When Elmer first arrived, he was a bit timid about the big, unfamiliar world around him. But even then, one thing was clear - his love for affection was stronger than his fear. With some time in a wonderful foster home, Elmer has been learning that people are pretty great and that life can be full of cozy naps, tasty meals, and lots of playtime. His confidence has grown more and more each day!Once Elmer feels at home… watch out! This kitten transforms into an absolute menace in the best possible way. He’s spunky, goofy, and endlessly entertaining. Elmer loves toys and will happily chase anything that moves! He’s also a big fan of the classic kitten pastime: attacking mysterious hands and feet under blankets with dramatic flair.Elmer spent some time in a loving foster home with lots of furry siblings (dogs and cats) - suggesting he would do well in a home with other animals as long as proper, slow introductions are performed! He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate kitten who will keep you laughing and fill your home with fun, Elmer might just be your guy. All he needs is a loving home where he can continue growing into the confident, silly cat he’s meant to be. Story
Before you assume anything… let’s clear something up. ELPHABA may be named after the Wicked Witch… but this girl is anything but wicked! In fact, this 8-month-old stunner might just be one of the sweetest kittens you’ll ever meet. She absolutely adores people and believes affection should be given freely and often - preferably in the form of snuggles, head bumps, and tiny kitten kisses.Elphaba is the perfect mix of loving and playful! She’s happy to curl up and soak in all the pets you’re willing to offer, but the moment a toy appears, she’s ready to leap into action like the confident little star she is. Much like her famous namesake, Elphaba has a big personality and a heart that shines even brighter. She’s curious, affectionate, and always ready to make your day a little more interesting!Elphaba came to WCAS with her sister Glinda, but the two are not bonded and can happily be adopted separately or together. All Elphaba really needs is a family who will appreciate her loving nature and let her be the wonderful little character she is. Elphaba may do well in a home with other animals as long as proper, slow introductions are performed!Elphaba is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative. If you’re looking for a kitten who will fill your home with affection, personality, and a little bit of Oz-inspired charm… Elphaba is ready to cast her spell on you! Story
Meet BIBBLE - the main character you’ve been waiting for!Let’s get one thing straight: this is Bibble’s world, and we’re all just lucky enough to live in it! Bibble is a 6-month-old kitten with absolutely stunning, one-of-a-kind markings that make him impossible to forget. He’s the kind of kitten people stop mid-sentence to admire - and then stay for his personality. Because wow… this boy is something special!Bibble came to WCAS as a stray when he was just 2-months-old, and his journey to adoption has been a long one. He’s been through more than most kittens his age, but he has come out the other side happy, confident, affectionate, and ready to take on the world (or at least your couch). Now for the important honesty part:Bibble is on a special GI/EN diet, which he will likely need to remain on for the rest of his life. Because of this, he is considered a special needs adoption. But here’s the thing - Bibble makes his “special needs” so incredibly worth it. Truly! He is an AMAZING cat!!Bibble is our professional feline socializer because he gets along super well with all of our feline friends! His bubbly personality suggests he would do well in a home with other animals as long as proper, slow introductions are performed! He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative.Bibble is finally ready for the forever home he’s waited so patiently for - one that will love him for exactly who he is, diet and all. In return, he’ll give you loyalty, affection, laughter, and a lifetime of unforgettable moments! Please fill out an adoption application on our website - for any additional information or questions, please contact the shelter at wausharacoanimalshelter@gmail.com or (920) 279-9795.

She loves toys, chasing anything that moves, and engaging in the occasional dramatic zoomie like the magical little whirlwind she is.Glinda came to WCAS with her sister Elphaba, but the two are not bonded and can happily be adopted separately or together.
