Story
If kindness could be wrapped in orange fur, it would look a lot like this guy!Meet AGGIE, a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair with a sweet personality, excellent manners, and just the right amount of playful charm! This handsome guy is the kind of cat who makes friends wherever he goes. Gentle, affectionate, and easygoing, Aggie has a calm presence that makes it impossible not to love him!!While he certainly enjoys lounging around and soaking up attention from his favorite people, Aggie also has a playful side and loves the occasional toy, game, or adventure around the house. He`s a well-rounded cat who knows how to have fun but also appreciates the finer things in life - like a cozy bed, a sunny window, and a good head scratch!Aggie came to WCAS as part of a large hoarding situation, but you would never know it by meeting him today. Despite his difficult start, Aggie has blossomed into a confident, affectionate companion, showing everyone just how resilient and adaptable cats can be! Now that he no longer has to worry about simply getting by, Aggie is free to enjoy what every cat deserves: safety, love, and plenty of attention.Aggie may do well in a home with other animals as long as proper, slow introductions are performed. He is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative. This orange sweetheart is ready to leave his past behind and find a forever family of his own. Story
The Woman in Black is making her debut...... and she`s stealing hearts instead of souls!Meet JOHNNY, a 3-month-old kitten who`s proudly carrying on the family tradition as the Woman in Black. Named after the legendary Johnny Cash, this little lady may be dressed head-to-toe in sleek black fur, but her personality is anything but serious.Johnny came to us after living outdoors with her sisters, so she`s still discovering just how wonderful life as a spoiled house kitten can be. She`s made great progress and enjoys being around people, but she`s not the type to march up and demand cuddles from every stranger she meets. Give her a little time to settle in, and you`ll be rewarded with the joy of watching her confidence grow. What Johnny does know for certain is that playtime is serious business. This goofy girl is always on the move - chasing toys, wrestling with her sisters, launching surprise zoomies, and turning just about anything into her next great adventure. She has the kind of playful spirit that`s impossible not to smile at! And let`s be honest... she`s absolutely gorgeous!! With her sleek, silky black coat and bright, curious eyes, Johnny is every bit as striking as her famous namesake.Johnny may do well in a home with other animals as long as proper, slow introductions are performed! She is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative. If you`re looking for a kitten who`s playful, entertaining, and ready to blossom with a little patience, Johnny is ready to write the next chapter of her story - hopefully with you! Story
Some cats don`t need a fresh start... they just need someone willing to meet them where they are.Meet ANGIE, an 8.5-year-old domestic shorthair with a heart of gold and a story that`s written all over her. This sweet senior isn`t the flashy kitten who will be climbing your curtains - but if you`re looking for a quiet companion to share your home and your heart, Angie may be exactly who you`ve been waiting for! When Angie arrived at WCAS, she was carrying around painful mats on her back - some as large as a golf ball or even a baseball. To make her comfortable again, she received a rather unique haircut! Her fur will grow back, but for now, she`s rocking her shaved look with quiet dignity.Angie is also declawed, and unfortunately, we`re already seeing some of the long-term effects that declawing can cause. She has arthritis in her paws, which can make her a little grumpy at times, and carrying a few extra pounds doesn`t do her joints any favors. Sadly, arthritis and chronic pain are common complications of declawing, which is one of the many reasons we strongly discourage the procedure! While Angie appreciates affection, she`s very clear about how she likes it - and we respect that! She`s a head-pets-only kind of gal, and if you`re doing a good job, don`t be surprised if she rewards you with sweet little licks or gentle `love nips` to let you know she`s enjoying the attention. (Don`t worry - they`re not bites, just one of the quirky ways some felines show affection!)Because of all this, Angie isn`t looking for just any home - she`s looking for her home! A calm, quiet environment where she can nap in sunny windows, enjoy gentle affection on her terms, and spend her golden years surrounded by patience, understanding, and love. She deserves someone who sees beyond her age, her shaved back, and her achy joints to the wonderful cat she still is!Though Angie may get along with feline friends that are `her pace` - she would prefer a home of her own. She is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative. If you`ve ever believed that the best things in life are worth a little extra care, Angie is ready to show you just how rewarding adopting a senior cat can be. Could you be the happy ending this sweet girl has been waiting for? Story
Is she Fancy? Absolutely. Is she dramatic? Also yes.Meet REBA, a 3-month-old tabby kitten who`s ready to steal the spotlight! Part of our country litter alongside her sisters Dolly and Johnny, Reba has one goal in life: turn every day into her own sold-out performance. This goofy girl is packed with personality and enough playful energy to keep everyone entertained. Wand toys? Reba doesn`t just chase them... she launches herself sky-high trying to catch them! Her impressive leaps, silly antics, and endless zoomies make every play session feel like front-row seats to the funniest show in town.Like her sisters, Reba came to us after living outdoors, so she`s still learning that people can be pretty wonderful. She`s making great progress every day and enjoys being around her human friends, but she`s not quite the kitten who`s going to curl up in your lap the moment you meet her. Give her a little patience, plenty of toys, and the chance to settle into her new home, and you`ll get the joy of watching her confidence continue to grow. And just like her namesake, Reba knows how to make an entrance. Whether she`s soaring through the air after a feather toy or making everyone laugh with her goofy personality, she`s always ready for an encore!Reba may do well in a home with other animals as long as proper, slow introductions are performed! She is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative. If your home is missing a little laughter, a lot of playtime, and one unforgettable leading lady, Reba is ready to take center stage!
