Story
Meet Queenie: Your Future Professional Best FriendShe’s gray, she’s graceful, and she’s ready to be the center of your world.Queenie is 8 years old, which means she’s mastered the art of the perfect nap. She doesn’t need much—just a sunny window, a soft chin scratch, and a human who appreciates a quiet companion. Queenie is currently living the good life in a foster home, but she’s officially ready to find her permanent throne.Queenie is the ultimate `low-maintenance` roommate. She’s past the kitten chaos and prefers the finer things in life: a soft sunbeam, a plush bed, and your undivided attention. She’s a listener, a professional napper, and a loyal friend who will always be waiting for you at the door.Queenie was recently diagnosed with renal disease. While that sounds like a big term, it really just means she’s a special girl with a special menu! To keep her feeling her best and her kidneys happy, she needs to stay on a prescription renal diet for life. She thinks the food is delicious, and it’s a small price to pay for the years of love she has ready to give.Queenie has recently started seeking out affection on her own terms, proving that underneath her quiet exterior is a girl who truly wants to be loved. She’s even rediscovered her `inner kitten,` venturing out to chase toys and show off her playful side.Queenie is looking for a patient home that will celebrate every new `first` with her. She isn`t an `instant` lap cat, but she is proving every day that she is worth the wait.Queenie is spayed and has received core vaccinations (feline distemper, rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Queenie, feel free to reach out at (920) 733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org, or stop by during our open hours to take a look around!

Story
Meet Max, a 5-year-old male cat! Max came to us as a surrender with his sister, Luna. If you’re looking for a double dose of feline love, look no further. Max is a 5-year-old soul who takes his job as a `big brother` very seriously. While he might not be the first one to jump into your lap, he’s the brave explorer of this pair, paving the way for his best friend, Luna. Max is a gentle, observant boy who likes to survey his kingdom before making a move. He’s a bit on the shy side, but once he realizes you’re the source of head scratches, his wall starts to crumble. Max and Luna share a very special bond and will need to go home together. Max’s history with other animals (besides Luna) is unknown, but our Adoption Team would be happy to provide guidance for slow introductions to any resident pets. Their new family should understand that `love at first sight` might look like `love from under the sofa` for the first few days. Max recently had ear polyps removed. While he is doing great now, potential adopters should be aware that there is always a chance for polyp regrowth in the future, which may require veterinary monitoring.Max is neutered and has received core vaccinations (Feline Distemper, Rabies), flea preventative, deworming, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Max or our adoption process, please reach out to our adoption staff at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.

Story
Sass: A Quiet Soul Ready to BloomSass is a 5-year-old brown and black tabby looking for a very special kind of hero. Found tucked away in a garage, Sass didn`t come to us with `cattitude`—she arrived completely shut down. For a long time, she protected herself by staying small and silent, but the `quiet magic` we hoped for is finally happening. We are thrilled to share that Sass is bravely coming out of her shell! This sweet girl has started purring and making biscuits, showing us just how much love she has tucked away. Every soft blink and relaxed stretch is a massive victory and seeing her find her confidence is incredibly rewarding. To continue this wonderful progress, Sass needs a calm, low-activity home where she can feel truly secure. Sass has previously lived with other cats and a small dog, so she may enjoy the company of a gentle resident pet.Because the world can still feel a bit overwhelming, she is looking for an adult-only home or one with older, calm children. There is a profound joy in being the person who shows a once-hidden cat that the world is a safe and loving place. If you have the patience to move at her pace, Sass is ready to start her new life with you.Sass is spayed, has received core vaccinations (Feline Distemper, Rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Sass or our adoption process, feel free to reach out to adoption staff at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.
