Story
Sass: The Masterpiece in ProgressSome cats demand your attention the second you walk into a room, but Sass? She is a masterclass in the art of the slow burn—and trust us, the payoff is spectacular.Found hiding in a garage, Sass initially coped with the big, loud world by trying to blend into the background. But thanks to the patience of a wonderful foster home, this 5-year-old brown and black tabby is officially blooming. Sass has discovered the joy of head scratches, rewarding her foster humans with soft purrs and deliberate, happy biscuits. Every relaxed stretch and slow blink from Sass feels like winning the lottery. She is bravely shedding her shy exterior to reveal a sweet, deeply affectionate soul.Sass has previously coexisted peacefully with other cats and a small dog, making her a great candidate for a home with a gentle resident pet to show her the ropes. Because the world can still feel a bit loud, Sass is holding out for a home with older children or adults only and a predictable, low-activity environment. She doesn`t need you to be a superhero—she just needs you to be a safe harbor. If you are looking for a deep, meaningful connection and want to be the one who crosses the finish line with this resilient girl, Sass is waiting in her foster home to meet you.Sass is spayed, has received core vaccinations (Feline Distemper, Rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you have any questions about Sass or our adoption process, feel free to reach out to adoption staff at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.

Story
Say hello to Wilma, a gorgeous 1-year-old female who is ready to find her forever family! This sweet girl originally came to the shelter as a stray, but she hasn`t let her past dampen her spirits. Wilma has proven to be an incredibly friendly and affectionate companion who loves receiving pets and soaking up attention. She’s even a bit of a model and will happily pause for a quick photo when the camera comes out! While Wilma is being a total champ and making the best of her time in her kennel, she would be so much happier thriving in a loving home environment. Because she arrived as a stray, we aren`t quite sure how she feels about other cats, dogs, or young children just yet. For this reason, we recommend a home that can provide slow, patient introductions to ensure everyone adjusts beautifully. Don`t worry, though—our team is more than happy to share our favorite tips and tricks to help make her adoption a total success! Wilma is fully vetted and ready to roll! She has been spayed, has received core vaccinations (Feline Distemper, Rabies), flea preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you are looking for a sweet, photogenic companion to brighten your days, Wilma might just be your perfect match. Stop by the shelter to meet this lovely girl today! If you have any questions about Wilma or our adoption process, feel free to reach out at (920)-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org. You can also stop by during our open hours to take a look around.

Story
At 16 years young, Sapphire is a true gem looking for a peaceful place to spend her golden years. This sweet senior found herself in our care when her owner was no longer able to care for her, and while she arrived with a companion, she has made it clear that she prefers the `solo life.` Sapphire is ready to be the only cat in her forever home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.Don`t let her age fool you—Sapphire still has plenty of pep in her step! She is seriously just the best cat and wants attention and affection all the time. In fact, she has spent quite some time hanging out in our volunteer coordinator`s office, soaking up all the chin rubs and pets she can get. When she isn`t busy socializing, you can almost always find her stationed by a window, happily bird-watching or napping in a warm patch of sunlight. While Sapphire doesn`t have a known history living with children, she may do well in a home with respectful, older kids who understand that she is a senior gal who is a little more fragile and appreciates a gentler touch.Sapphire has early-stage kidney disease, which means she requires a specialized prescription kidney diet for the rest of her life to keep her feeling her best. She also recently had an extensive dental procedure here at the shelter, so she will need a soft-food-only diet going forward. We promise her health needs are a small trade-off for the immense amount of love and companionship this beautiful girl provides. If you have a quiet home and a warm lap, Sapphire is ready to fill your life with rainbows and purrs!Sapphire is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all core vaccinations (Feline Distemper and Rabies). She has also been dewormed and is current on her flea preventative. If you have any questions about Sapphire or our adoption process, feel free to reach out at (920)-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org. You can also stop by during our open hours to take a look around.

Story
Meet Kiwi, a lovely 5-year-old girl who found herself at the shelter after her previous family had to move. Right now, Kiwi is feeling pretty frightened in the noisy shelter environment, and she can be quite shy with new people. She is truly longing for a quiet, comforting space where she can finally feel safe again. Once she settles in and gets comfortable, Kiwi is a wonderful mix of sweet and spunky! She is affectionate, loves to chat with you, and can be quite the lap cat. She is a lady who loves attention, but she prefers it on her own terms. She isn`t a fan of belly rubs, and she isn`t afraid to use her voice to let you know exactly when she has had enough pets for the day. When it`s time for fun, Kiwi loves chasing wand toys and enjoys a bit of rough-and-tumble playtime. Because she is currently so scared and dislikes loud noises, vacuums, and cars, she is looking for a peaceful indoor sanctuary. She would thrive best in a quiet, child-free home or one with older kids who already speak fluent `cat language` and can respect her boundaries while she builds up her confidence. Kiwi is fully vetted and ready to find her permanent landing spot! She is already spayed, microchipped, dewormed, up-to-date on her core vaccinations (Feline Distemper and Rabies), and has received her flea preventative. If you have a calm home and a patient heart for a sweet, sensitive girl, Kiwi might be your perfect match! If you have any questions about Kiwi or our adoption process, feel free to reach out at (920)-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org. You can also stop by during our open hours to take a look around.

Story
Meet Twyla, a beautiful seven-year-old lady who found herself at the shelter through no fault of her own. This mature girl has plenty of personality and has been very vocal whenever her kennel door opens, eager to greet new faces and strike up a conversation with anyone passing by. Even though she is quite the talker, Twyla can still be a little unsure about the busy shelter environment. She is looking for a patient home where she can fully settle in, relax, and let her true colors shine at her own comfortable pace. Because we don`t have a lot of history on this sweet girl, we are unsure how she would do living with dogs, other feline friends, or younger children. However, our staff is ready to provide you with great tips and guidance on how to do slow, proper introductions to ensure a successful adoption. Twyla is already spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and current on her flea preventative. She is also fully up to date on her core vaccinations, including Feline Distemper and Rabies, meaning she is completely ready to find her forever family. If you have any questions about Twyla or our adoption process, feel free to reach out at (920)-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org. You can also stop by during our open hours to take a look around.
