Story
Barnum is currently in a foster home, here are a few words from his foster mom:`Barnum, aka Barney, is a handsome and rapidly growing young fellow! He is currently at a foster home and is great friends with the younger kittens and the one year old family cat. They love to wrestle and run around like maniacs, particularly at midnight! Barney is a mild-mannered cat and will go off by himself when there is too much activity.Of special note: Barney has lush, long fur, and he enjoys having it brushed and combed, which is important so he doesn’t develop mats and tangles.`Please note: - Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed. - Applications can be downloaded from our website. (http://neenahanimalshelter.org/how-to-adopt.html) - Our shelter has open visiting hours for cats, however pre-approved application are needed prior to an adoption. Appointments may be scheduled with an approved application as well, otherwise we may not be able to accommodate same day adoptions. - Approved applications are required prior to meeting any of our dogs.**Kittens are required to be adopted in pairs, unless there already is a cat in the home. If the cat in the home is 10 years or older, this two-kitten policy will apply.

Story
Hi I`m Pippi. After caring both for my own kittens and then stepping up to mother a few more, I am more than ready to retire from motherhood. On occasion I do like to play, especially with a rope toy, and I enjoy the scratching post. I enjoy my quiet time the most and like to sit by my foster mom feet while see reads. I`ve met a dog, and while I didn`t mind her, I`m hoping most for a quiet and calm home with a family willing to give me the time and patience to blossom as much as I had while previously in my foster home. Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.-Applications can be downloaded from our website. Story
Fig is a sensitive soul looking for her forever family. Fig came to NAS back in November 2023 as a stray. This sweet girl is not cut out for the busy shelter environment and has thankfully found some great foster homes to temporarily call home. Since being in a foster home, Fig has shown us what kind of kitten antics she can get into now that she has settled in. Fig enjoys peeking out the windows and will sometimes just be a tail peeking out from the curtains. She loves vertical scratchers and playing with toys as well. Fig is very food motivated and loves to be by her peoples` side, following them from room to room. Fig will need a patient family and calm household who will let her warm up at her own pace. Fig is currently in a foster home. She is on a once daily anxiety medication that gets mixed in her food every morning. Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.-Applications can be downloaded from our website. Story
Joy and her roommate Bella came to us when life with their previous family took an unfortunate change. Since being with us both girls have shown to be sweet, social and affectionate. Joy will often be the first to come up to visitors and say hello but some times she`d rather hang back and let Bella check it out first. She does have some chronic runny eyes that just need a little cleaning from time to time and is fed E/N Dry with some daily supplements for support.Joy is currently located in a Foster Home. Please note:- Our website (www.neenahanimalshelter.org) is updated in real time, so we are accepting applications for all animals that are currently listed.-Applications can be downloaded from our website.
