Please meet Buggy! He is a 1.5 year old neutered male. Buggy was adopted from ECCHA as a kitten and returned recently because his owners were moving. Buggy lived with Stewy (also at Mr. Kitty's) and gets along well with other cats. Buggy is a bit shy at first but after he's comfortable he loves to explore and is very curious. Buggy loves to play with toys and get the zoomies. Buggy is ready to find his forever home as he is microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. His adoption fee is $60. Stewy was recently returned to ECCHA with Buggy as his owners were moving. Before that he had been here for almost 3 months. Stewy does well with his other feline friends, but we do not think a household with dogs would be best for him. Most of the time you will find Stewy at his food bowl munching away. He loves all the neck and ear scratches he can get and would love a soft, plushy bed to take a nap in at the end of the day. Ideally, Stewy needs to be put on a diet to ensure he has a long, healthy life. Fast weight gain in cats can lead to diabetes and insulin dependence and we do not want this for Sweet Stewy. Luna came to ECCHA as a surrender as in her previous home, she and the other kitties didn't get along. Luna was very nervous here at the shelter so we sent her to a foster home and this is what her foster mom has to say about her! "Luna is a big ball of fur and love. She greets people with an excited, friendly meow. Her signature position is laying on her back so she can get a belly rub. She also loves ear and chin scratches. She'll purr and give your face a little lick when she's feeling loved. She enjoys kneading soft things with her clawless little paws. The majority of the day she can be found laying in her cat tree enjoying the sights and sounds of the outdoors then napping in the sun. My name is Harpy. But, my foster family calls me "Happy Harpy" as I am such a happy and friendly 4-year-old kitty! I came into the shelter in December of 2023, as a stray. I was adopted in December but was returned in less than a week as the resident cat didn't like me. I was pretty stressed with coming back and developed diabetes. So, in January, I was sent to a foster home to continue to have my diabetes followed by the veterinarian. My diabetes quickly went into remission, and I continue to watch my calories and carbs! I do not need a prescription diet and my foster can tell you what foods I like to eat! I'm a very handsome long haired brown tabby. When I came to the shelter, I was full of matts and had a day at the spa to get the matts trimmed off. The groomers said I was one of the best kitties they had groomed, and I do like being brushed! I use my litter box and scratching pole and enjoy chasing my toys. I like attention from my people, and I get along with all the other cats here. I could be your only cat or be friends with your resident cats with a proper introduction. I would do better in a home with older children as I do startle and can be timid.
