Story
Bucket is about a year old in April. (I have her sister Clover on this website as well.) I took over taking care of the two cats after a friend couldn't take care of them. I myself have two cats of my own, but I move around a lot and I can't keep taking four cats with me wherever I go unfortunately. Bucket is just a chubby little lover. You push her over, she just stays in that same spot so you can pet her belly until she's finished with you. She doesn't really meow unless you pick her up and hold her for too long and even then her meow sounds like a motor bike trying to start. She's pretty independent but will definitely be a cuddler. She's great with other people and other cats and she's bossy enough that she probably do well with dogs after she put them in their place. It's breaking my heart to get rid of these girls but I know someone out there would love to have her or even doubled with her sister in their lives.

Story
Nox was given to me as a kitten and I've raised her for her whole life. She is around 10 years old and is a very calm cat. As with most cats, she has some sassy but she mostly just wants to sleep and cuddle. Some unfortunate life events happened and I can't take her with which is hard but I want her to have a great rest of her life. She would be best suited in a house where she is the only one but grew up around many dogs. She will let them rambunctious ones know if they're being too much but the calmer dogs she just kind of pretends they don't exist. She's a loving cat who every one likes and I just want a loving home for her.

Story
This is Clover and she will be about a year old in April. (Her sister Bucket is on this website as well.) I took over taking care of the two cats after a friend couldn't take care of them. I myself have two cats, but I move around a lot and it's proving to be hard to travel with four cats consistently. It's breaking my heart to have to find these girls new homes but I have faith in everyone out there. Clover can be a timid cat, but breaks out of her shell when she needs to. She's so dang pretty and I think she knows it. She also LOVES men. They seem to be her favorite. She is the smaller of her litter but it doesn't stop her from doing anything. She cuddles quite often but would rather come to you on her own time. Although, if you feel like cuddling, she won't actually shy away from you as long as you keep petting her. She doesn't meow much at all and when she does it's the cutest little squeak.

Story
This sweetie is Fluffy. She is the remaining kitten from Luna's litter, but she's found a new brother from another in one of our "runts," Pesto. The two came from litters that were less socialized and they were both the shiest of their bunch. Do not let their slow beginnings throw you! These two are the sweetest kittens you ever did meet. Maybe not as high energy as some of our other kittens, but given some one-on-one attention, you'll see how much they shine! They both have grown much more confident in the presence of strangers and are still so young. We really would love to see Pesto and Fluffy go home together, seeing how much they've bonded here at the rescue. It's clear that together they can take on the world! And, of course, they're typical kittens who like to play and run around and nap together, and they would love to go to the same home, so they can support each other, even if they've entered their lanky teenage years. It is extremely beneficial for kittens to be together. It's a great way to ensure they have a friend and a more enriching life. Plus, they learn by observing and interacting with each other, making it easier to learn about scratching limits and develop social skills. Kittens will do well with other cats, cat-savvy dogs and children with a proper introduction! We will give preference to adoption applications for the pair. You can meet Fluffy (and Pesto) during our open hours every Wednesday 4-7pm and Saturday 10am-1pm. For an appointment, call us at 507-895-2066 or email info@lacrescentanimalrescue.com

Story
Squill is one of the seven "Flowers" kittens born on April 23rd and we are baffled that any of them are still here! Squill has endless energy for play-fighting with his brother Muscari, and especially loves the play tunnel we have here at the rescue. If you are looking for an affectionate lovebug, Squill is your kitty! He and his brother Muscari are friendly kittens who would do well in most any home with a proper introduction! Kittens do best together, so preference will be given to applications for pairs, or homes with another kitten already. This is very important for young kittens - it's a great way to ensure they have a friend and a more enriching life. Kittens learn by observing and interacting with each other, making it easier to learn about scratching limits and develop social skills. If you'd like to meet them in person, stop in during our open hours every Wednesday and Saturday. An appointment outside of those times may be arranged by calling 507-895-2066 or email info@lacrescentanimalrescue.com
