Story
Willie is a 6 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!***Willie is bonded with his housemate Whalen who is also available for adoption! So, this pair of handsome men are required to go home together - for ONE combined adoption fee!Meet Willie! Willie is a gentle and affectionate guy. He's mellow, laid back and complements his bonded buddy Whalan perfectly. While Whalan is social and seeks attention, Willie prefers to simply hang back and watch from a distance. He does enjoy slow, gentle pets from his favorite people but it happiest when he can simply lounge around soaking up sunshine watching the birds and squirells, never letting Whalan get too far away. He also does just fine with his independence—especially since his pal Whalan is always close by! While Willie is one of the most gentle guys around, he does still startle on occasion and get stressed when there is a lot going on around him. So, he would do best in a bit of a calmer and quieter home with kids at least 5 years of age or older. He should do ok with other types of calmer and respectful pets in the home too given slow and proper introductions to one another. Story
Meet Puddin' Pop! Puddin' Pop is a 10-month old spayed female. She is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Puddin' Pop is a funny and sweet girl who's adorably topsy-turvy! She doesn't realize this but, she has suspected Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Don't worry though, this doesn't affect her everyday quality of life and doesn't mean there will be any additional veterinary costs! Puddin' Pop is a born cuddler, snuggling with her humans whenever she can sneak a chance, and also loves to give kisses (I mean, she was raised by huskies). Puddin' lives every day to the fullest, zoomin' around and acting like every other cat. She plays and climb's the cat trees like a normal girl. While her foster mom has made climbing the cat tree's a little easier for her, she can still maneuver them just fine. Puddin's favorite toys are spring's and turntable ball toys. She also likes to carry around her beloved lamby- which is actually one of the dog toys but, the dogs love her and have decided she's worth sharing it with! Puddin' Pop will thrive in any home with slow and proper introductions, this includes homes with kids of any age or other pets. Amber is a 9 month old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!Meet Amber! Amber is a sweet, gentle, and mellow lady who is ready to provide nonstop snuggles to her special someone. She may be a bit shy and more reserved at first but don’t let that fool you as all it takes is a few gentle pets to get this girl to warm up to you. Once she is comfortable, she is a typical young lady who enjoys spending her days exploring her surroundings, batting around her toys, and playing with her feline friends. In fact, Amber loves her kitty companions so much and is much more comfortable with a feline friend by her side that she is required to go to a home with another cat. She may do ok with other low-key and respectful pets in the home given slow and proper introductions to one another. And any kiddos in the house should be at least 5 years of age or older who won’t chase or scare her as she may still startle on occasion from fast movements and loud noises. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application

Story
Meet Snowy! Snowy is a 6-month-old spayed female. She is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Don’t let her name fool you—this little girl has blossomed into such a sweet and affectionate kitten once she feels comfortable in her space and with her people. She might need a few days to settle in at first, but once she does, her warm and loving personality really starts to shine.Snowy came to the shelter a bit on the nervous side and needed some patience, but in her foster home she’s made incredible progress. She now lives with a senior foster cat named Asia and a young, cat-savvy Golden Retriever, and she’s doing amazingly well with both! She’s learned how to navigate different personalities and has really come into her own. While she can still be a little startled by loud noises and sudden movements, Snowy enjoys cuddling, playing, and spending time perched in a sunny window watching birds and squirrels go by. She’s a great mix of gentle and playful, especially once she feels safe.Because Snowy thrives with feline companionship, she’s required to go to a home with another cat or to have a confident kitty friend waiting for her. She would do best in a calm home, and any children should be 8 years or older and able to respect her boundaries. With her positive experience around her foster’s dog, she may also do well with a calm, cat-savvy dog after slow and proper introductions. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application

Story
Olwen is a 2 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!Meet Olwen! Olwen came into the shelter as a very shy and nervous guy who did take a while to adjust to his new surroundings. He lived communally at CRHS before going into a loving foster home (with his bestie Tansy). Here are some things his foster family has to say about him:"Olwen loves pets and affection, and I have gotten lots of nose boops from him. We have found he likes belly rubs and loves to play with wand toys even more than Tansy does. He is very curious, playful and snuggly. "Olwen loves seeking attention from his favorite humans and will beg until he gets all the love he can get! He also enjoys spending his time taking long cat naps, lounging up high in his cat tree, or relaxing next to a sunny window. Olwen does get startled by loud noised and fast movements, so he would do best in a low-key home with a cat savvy family where any children are at least 12 years of age or older. He LOVES spending time with his kitty friends and looks to them for comfort when he is stressed. So, he is required to go to a home with another cat. He may do ok with other calm and respectful pets in the home as well given very slow and proper introductions to one another. If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application

Story
Meet Tiger!!Tiger is a 4-year-old neutered male. He is microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations.**Tiger is FIV positive – please don’t hesitate to ask us for more information about FIV!Meet Tiger — a sweet, social boy with a personality that will make you melt! While he may need a few days to settle in and get comfortable in new surroundings, once he finds his bearings he quickly becomes the best companion for both his human and feline friends. Tiger really enjoys spending time with his favorite people, happily hopping into laps and gazing up with those soulful eyes in hopes of earning a tasty treat or a little extra attention. He also loves playing and simply hanging out with the other cats in the home, whether it's chasing toys or basking in the sun. When he’s not cuddling, Tiger’s playful side shines through! His favorite toys are spring toys and fuzzy mice, and he can happily entertain himself — or his feline friends — for hours. Tiger absolutely adores other cats and thrives with feline companionship, so he is required to go home with another friendly cat. Because he can startle easily, he would do best in a home with children ages 5 and up.If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application
