Story
Astrid is a 14 year old cat with the sweetest personality. She loves humans and is very affectionate. Unfortunately, when we got a puppy a year ago, she moved into the basement. She’s very easy to care for. We’re hoping to find her a home that she’ll get the love and attention she deserves. She does have her claws in tact. All shots up to date.

Story
This is my brother's adorable cat, Tobi. He's a male, around 7 years old, and extremely sweet, playful, funny, and affectionate. He is deeply loved. Unfortunately, my brother can no longer care for him and has asked me to help find a new home for Tobi with people who will love him as much as he does. Tobi would do best as a single pet, he's never shared a home with any other pets before and really likes having all of the attention. However, if you have experience and the patience to help him adapt to current pets, I am willing to discuss. He is neutered but not up to date on vaccines due to financial hardship. He is an indoor cat. If you are looking for a new best friend, this little guy is truly the best anyone could ask for.

Story
**I`m available for adoption as a Working Cat!**· Intake Reason: Stray, unable to go back to the property he was from due to fighting other outdoor cats. WCHS believes this will resolve due to him now being neutered.· Socialization: Unsocialized to people, but shows potential· WCHS recommends I am an: Outdoor catWorking cats are the unsung heroes of the outdoor community. These outdoor-savvy cats thrive in environments where they can put their natural instincts to work. They excel at pest and disease control, helping keep rodents at bay, and they often form bonds with the people and animals who share their space.Adopting a working cat is simple and incredibly rewarding. Caretakers must provide the essentials-shelter, food, and water-and have a small temporary space, such as a large wire dog crate, to quarantine the cat for two weeks after adoption. This settling in period helps the cat learn that your property is home. All working cats come already spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and adoption fees are `name your own price.` If you`re looking for a natural pest control partner who brings a little extra life, your property, a working cat might be the perfect fit.If you`re interested in adopting me as an outdoor cat, please fill out an application online on the working cat page.

Story
Intake Reason: Transfer from MADACC Known with: ·Cats: Unknown ·Kids: Unknown, likely best with older children. ·Dogs: UnknownTigrex is a high-energy, playful boy who lives for wand toys and action-packed fun. He sees just about every waking moment as playtime—which can sometimes lead to overstimulation and the occasional nip. The good news? His foster home has been helping him learn that toys—not hands—are for play, and he’s already making great progress. He’s even started clicker training! With his enthusiasm, intelligence, and love of interaction (plus the occasional lap cuddle), Tigrex is basically a dog in a cat’s body, ready to bring excitement and personality into his future home.Notes from my foster mom: Tigrex is a very affectionate and energetic cat who loves constant attention and play but may nip or grab if ignored. He’s smart, playful, and becomes a cuddly lap cat when tired. Best suited for an active adult home.

Story
Intake Reason: Surrendered - unable to care forKnown with:·Cats: Good - Lived with 10 mo old brother & 6 wk old kitten·Kids: Good - Lived with 7yr old·Dogs: Good - Lived with 2 small breed dogsCute and playful, kittens are bound to bring life to any home! These high energy felines are great additions to families with time to dedicate to playing and helping the kittens learn and grow. Having another young cat or kitten as a playmate for each other is also a good way to keep them active without having to give them your constant attention. Kittens play hard and sleep hard, oftentimes to extremes. Mischief runs through every kitten`s veins, which can sometimes be overwhelming. Although they always look adorable and cuddly, please remember that tomfoolery and high energy are just around the corner.
