Hi, I'm Desi and I was surrendered to find a loving home where I could thrive again! In my prior home, I was the queen for over five years then my person brought home two kittens. Unfortunately, we were not introduced correctly so the three of us never became best buddies. It's not to say that I don't like cats ... I think I'd get along just fine if my person takes the appropriate time to make the transition best for all cats in the home. That being said, I did like being the queen of the house so being an only kitty again would be awesome. Something I did at my prior home that you might find charming is I like to carry my toys and show them off to you! The adjustment from a home to a shelter is a little hard on me now but I am confident with each passing day I will get better at presenting myself. Now, I like the comfort of my cubby so don't be surprised if I don't jump out to greet you. Take a few moments to speak with me quietly and see what happens. I hope you will come to HAWS to meet me soon.

Hi, I’m June. I’m a 2-year-old girl with a quiet heart and gentle ways. I can be a little shy at first, and I’m still learning that people are safe and kind. I may not rush right up to you, but I’m always watching, listening, and trying to understand. One thing I really like is being talked to. Soft voices make me feel calm, and I enjoy when you tell me about your day or just say hello. It helps me feel included, even when I’m keeping a little distance. I need a home where things are peaceful and patient. Somewhere I can move at my own pace and build trust slowly. When you give me time, space, and gentle reassurance, I’ll start to show you my true self in small but meaningful ways. If you’re someone who believes love grows quietly and understands that trust is something earned, I think we could be very special together.
