You won't need to file her teeth and good-mannered Luna is much less likely to chew your electrical cords (tho she can hop a fence).  She is much easier to take on walks, tho she thinks cardio is over-rated. This low-key girl much prefers your lap. Thoughtful to a fault, she knows there is no room in that lap for other critters, so asks to be your only snuggle bunny. They're 4 months old, weigh about 22 pounds and will probably grow to around 45 to 50 pounds or more. A delightful group, they are friendly, love affection and seek play time when they can. (They love toys!) They're quite good on leash for their age, and they're quick to learn. Puppies Delight! This lovely girl with the soulful eyes is named Bernadette. She's a 4 year old Catahoula mix weighing 50 pounds; all 50 of which are filled with love. She is terrific with other dogs, kids and cats. Bernadette is an old fashioned looking girl with the spotted coat of a Catahoula blended with the flavor of perhaps a bit of hound. She loves people and yearns for her own home. With you? 🐾 Meet Atlas – Our Longest-Waiting Adventurer 🐾 Atlas is a 4-year-old Catahoula mix who has been in the rescue program for almost 4 years, and we truly don’t understand how this incredible dog is still waiting for his forever home. Atlas is great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends. He is cat-friendly, but he can be a bit much for them since he always wants to play—so he’d do best in a cat-free home or one with a very tolerant, confident cat. This guy is active, athletic, and always ready for an adventure. Walks, outings, and staying busy are his jam, so he’ll need an active family who can keep up with his enthusiasm for life. Atlas does have some separation anxiety, but it is very manageable and continues to improve with routine and structure. And here’s the really cool part—Atlas has competed in THREE OneWorld Canine Biathlons and absolutely crushed it, even placing 2nd in one of his races! 🏅 This dog has both brains and brawn. 📍 Fostered in Huntsville, AL 🐶 Good with dogs 🐱 Cats with conditions 🏃 Adventure-ready & athletic Atlas has waited long enough.
