Snuggle. Bunny. Yes, we know Luna is in fact a dog, but we just consider that a bonus! You won't need to file her teeth and good-mannered Luna is much less likely to chew your electrical cords (tho she can hop a fence).  She is much easier to take on walks, tho she thinks cardio is over-rated. This low-key girl much prefers your lap. He is approximately 8 years old, intact, and needs someone with prior experience. He has to be kept separate from the other dogs as many fights have had to be broken up over the years. As far as we know he’s fine with female dogs. He likes human adults, is fine with both men and women, and will be friendly and want to jump on you, loves attention and affection unsure about small children. Hes likely not house trained anymore as he has been an outside dog for awhile now. We have small children in our home and don’t have the time/resources needed to properly handle and train him the way he needs. He needs a lot of love, patience, and either a professional trainer or someone willing to put their focus on him. We are currently trying to find an affordable option to get him neutered!!

Story
Dakota is a young adult probably 3 years old. He weighs about 65 lb. When he arrived he was heartworm positive. He has completed treatment as is doing great. Dakota is friendly but can be distrustful of strangers at first. He walks well on leash and will sit when asked. He can pull a bit. I use a training collar on him. He is well mannered. He will jump up but I've not had him put his feet on me. He loves attention and enjoys going for hikes with me. He would become a devoted, protective companion. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative (on monthly heartworm and flea preventive) and are microchipped. Upon adoption, the microchip will be registered with your contact information and you will be eligible to activate a free 30 day health insurance policy.
