Story
Merle is a 10 Month Old, Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix. This girl is absolutely gorgeous with a wonderful personality! She is currently at Robin’s house and the first 12 hours were pretty rough (as for a lot of our foster pups). She hid in her crate; shaking and scared. Then, there is a moment where the switch is turned on. After all that stress for the dog and the foster pawrent is suddenly lifted! Merle is now having the time of her life! Chasing balls, giving kisses, running and playing with the other dogs! She’s safe, fed, happy, and ready to start her FURever!! Apply for her on our website and come meet her today! www.dmdr.org/adopt

Story
Linda came to us when she was very little - unfortunately the foster family decided to keep her and her siblings, and ended up being a horder :( now we are rescuing Linda and her brothers back again. Linda and brothers have been enclosed in a dark room for almost all their first months of life. She will need patience to open up to be the beautiful girl she is. Linda and brothers were basically raised by the children of this family - the children didn't go to school hardly and they will be with the responsible people in taking care of them. Although Linda and brothers were giving so much love by the kids; they were never socialized until now. She is very smart and loving. She can get along with other dogs, with proper introduction; we can provide photos with other dogs. She has this beautiful shining coat with gorgeous chocolate color like a Chocolate Labrador; with that special tones of the Catahoula dog breed. She is an ideal medium size. She will be a great addition to any family with children as they love kids. We will provide $100 credit towards training with Petco. All our rescues are spayed/neutered and have been up to date on their core vaccinations of Distemper and Parvo - dewormed, as well as you will receive a free health check up with a participating vet clinic. If interested please complete an application at AngelsForDogsAndCatsRescue.org or at AAOFUS.org If you want to follow up on your application, please text us at 619-576-0747 as we are not taking any phone calls at the moment just texts 24/7 Thank you for helping rescued pets and for helping us to keep saving lives by adopting from us. Story
Meet Marley . He is the kindest most gentle dog I have ever met. He is a true gentleman in every sense of the word . He is a cuddle bug, loving, kind to dog and people, submissive and very eager to please. He has a sister on our website named Una who is also of the same character. Absolutely Loving dogs. This is a great family dog. I owe that to the fabulous care of the fosters they are with. The dogs have a great back story, I can share on a one to one basis. Marly walks well on a leash, crate trained and house broken. He weighs 55lbs. He is fully vetted, vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. If you would like this magnificent dog in your home please call Vicky at 760-672-2258. We are a rescue so an adoption fee will apply. Story
Meet Una. She is as sweet as she can be. She is smart and curious, observant and affectionate and loving. Una is energetic and loves to go on walks, she would probably be a great trail partner or running partner. While Una has energy and loves to play, she is submissive with other dogs and settles down quickly to a nice mellow dog that wants to be hugged and puts her head on your lap. She would be a great family pet. She is crate trained house broken, walks well on a leash and does well in a car. She weighs 65 lbs . Her brother is also up for adoption on our site named Marley. They have a great back story. She is vetted, spayed and microchipped, If you would love to have this sweet girl in your home please contact Vicky@760-672-2258. We are a rescue so an adoption fee will apply. Please go to our website Home - K9 Connection Home - K9 Connection to fill out the application You must use a Laptop or a Computer.

Story
WE ARE COURTESY POSTING BLUE FOR A FOSTER OR ADOPTIVE HOME Lucky Blue was just rescued off the euthanasia list at a local shelter. He is now ready to find his happily ever after. He is in a short term foster home, therefore he needs either a longer term foster or adoptive home. Blue is a 2 year old, 62 pound Pit/Catahoula mix. His piercing blue eyes capture attention but what is wonderful about Blue is his personality. He's a fun loving boy, sweet, gentle, greeted people he met on walks with a kiss. Blue seems to really like puppies and could do well joining a home with a younger pup. He behaved well in his kennel while at the shelter. In the play yard, he liked playing with toys, would get the zoomies but also enjoyed affection. If Blue sounds like a pup you could help out by fostering, or would like to consider for your family as a new canine member, please contact us.
