Meet Auggie, our beautiful Catahoula/Shepherd friend with City of Raytown Animal Services! Auggie was abandoned by her owners and then ran in fear for days in the middle of a highway; she was even struck by a car at one point. Thankfully, Auggie is safe now. And despite everything she's been through, she's a sweet and loving girl. Auggie is around a year old and would love a home where she can fully relax, be leash walked, and build up her confidence. She has warmed up quickly to the staff caring for her with a slow introduction. A new forever home would allow her to get back to being the goofy young pup we know she is. Bailey Husky / Catahoula Mix (best guess) DOB: 10/19/2025 Bailey is the sweet, solo puppy of a very young mama who survived a tough start after being left behind in a home. Her mom entered rescue just days before Bailey was born, and thanks to good care and a safe place to land, both have been thriving. Bailey is a friendly, wiggly girl who loves people and enjoys exploring her surroundings. She has a soft reddish coat, adorable white toes, and a happy, social personality. She’s doing great learning all things puppy — settling into routines, responding well to guidance, and approaching new experiences with curiosity and confidence. Like any puppy, she’s still learning, but she’s off to an excellent start in her foster home. Bailey is expected to grow into a medium to larger dog, likely around 45–60 lbs when fully grown.
