Hey there, everyone! I’m Zeus, a sweet, friendly, fun-loving, and affectionate chocolate-blonde Catahoula/ German Shepherd mix fella with mesmerizing ice-blue eyes. I have the blue eyes and coat colors of a Catahoula but the bushy, curved tail of a GSD. I must admit that I’m a striking head-turner who got my name because I command as much visual attention as the king of the Greek gods. But I’m not just eye candy! No siree! I’m a bundle of joy who’s added extra love and energy to Foster Mom’s life.
Due to my congenial nature, I love making new friends, whether they’re hooman or other dogs. I’m always up for schmoozing at the dog park, a walk in the neighborhood, or playing a game of fetch. I heard Foster Mom tell someone that I’m the smartest dog she’s ever trained. Add my keen intelligence to my eagerness to please and quickness to learn, and it’s no wonder that I’ve been a delight for her to train.
My brother, sister, and I were pets of a guy who unfortunately was evicted from his home and left us behind to fend for ourselves. When our situation was reported to our foster mom, thank heavens she rescued us from living paw-to-mouth on the mean streets of Houston and brought us home with her to foster.
