Story
We are moving into a smaller place with no yard that won't allow him because of his size and we need to find him a new forever home. He is a very affectionate dog with a playful personality. He is neutered and house/crate trained, but tends to be fearful of thunderstorms. He just had his 5th birthday. He's laid back, super sweet and loves cuddles/pets.

Story
I took Jetty because my granddaughter was going into the Marines, and she could not keep her. My husband and I travel a lot and it is really hard to find someone to take care of her like I take care of her. She is a smart dog. I will be sad to rehome her but I just feel like she needs more attention. Jetty is about a year old.

Story
Frankie has been a good boy since 2016. We adopted him as a puppy from a guy I knew who had a purebred female Catahoula that ran across an unknown stray. He has alot of energy still for an older dog. He grew up with another older, smaller dog, and they loved playing together. Not sure how he will be with other dogs since he has lived his whole life in our back yard. He is great with our 3 girls and has never even snapped at anyone. We hope he goes to a place where he can run around and enjoy being outside.

Story
Hi, I'm Furiosa! Age: Approx. 2 years Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 50 lbs Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog/American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Favorites: Treats, hanging out with my friend Katniss Energy level: High Training: Will sit for treat Other important info about me: I’m spunky, silly, and truly one of a kind! I came to the shelter as a stray with my friend Katniss, who the staff think may be my puppy, but can’t say for sure. We do great together, but can be separated into different adoptive homes as well. I appear to do well with people of all ages and other dogs, but I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an adoption inquiry through this listing, email mbas@montbelvieu.net, or call us at 281-214-9045!

Story
We found Hoagie wandering around when he was a puppy. He was covered in fleas, had a swollen leg, and had a small collar on that needed to be cut off. After unsuccessfully finding his home we decided to keep him. We’ve had Hoagie for about 3 years but our senior rescue has decided he no longer likes him and tries to attack him. We now have to keep them separated. Hoagie is extremely smart and easily trained. He’s the most obedient dog we’ve ever had. He loves to play with our other dog and needs a yard to run around. He absolutely loves playing outside. He is also a huge snuggle bug. We have a 6 month old baby that he does great with but we have not brought him around older children. He is not up to date on his shots but we plan on getting him up to date soon. He is not fixed. We will include a bag of his food and an XL kennel. It breaks our hearts to have to find Hoagie a new home, but we’re hoping to find the perfect family for him.
