Story
Barney is a 4 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Barney is a bonded pair with Molly as 2 year old Cocker Spaniel. Their owner fell sick and past away. An older family member has take over care but unable to care for the animals long term. We are needing to find a forever home for the two dogs to support with their care. We need the pair to be adopted together to support with their transition. Paper work and vet records can be provided. Both dogs have lived in a home with cats, love going on walks, and do well being home alone. True to the breeds they are friendly and gentle.

Story
Étouffée is a 4 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She is a lover. She just wants to love and be loved. Sweet is the best description. She is a little timid and figuring things out but she seems more confident everyday. She hasn’t taken much interest in her toys, but enjoys a good chew stick. She is learning to walk on a leash and potty outside. She is food motivated, so you can use that for training. She is learning not to chase the cat. She likes to sleep in her dog bed next to a human bed. She has only gone #2 indoors but seems to be learning to do #1 outside just not super consistently. She may need time to warm up to more cuddling and affection that she has had in the past, but given a little time, she is warming up to it. She is food motivated. She doesn’t have a lot of experience with other dogs or kids, but she does well with cats. Just look at those eyes, how could you resist this sweet one?!? -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Afro Puff is easy and awesome! He is the silkiest Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy you’ll ever pet! Afro Puff has been sleeping in his soft bed on the floor in the bedroom. He likes to have a blanket and a toy for snuggling. He is startled by new sounds until he learns what they are. He is a little tentative around people until he gets to know them, then he is a bundle of love. He expresses himself with head tilts and small barks when he hears unfamiliar noises, not loud “I’m protecting you” barks, just little “what’s that?” vocalization. So far, Afro Puff has done really well, only having a few accidents in the house. He goes out often throughout the day to the backyard where there is a designated big potty area. He has slept through the night without needing to go potty as well. Afro Puff is a lover. He did well lying in his bed in the car and loved it when his head was petted on the way. He even fell asleep. He cuddles in your lap often and even has fallen asleep cuddling at night before going to his own bed to sleep. He is good with a young kids as well as teenagers and with other dogs. He plays a runs around the house. He isn’t aggressive and doesn’t guard toys or food. He will bite a bit on toys or things left on the ground, but I haven’t seen him nip or bite living things. He is able to go up stairs, but not down the stairs yet. He barks at times when he hears things, but it not often. Overall, he is a wonderful fun puppy! He is just so cute and fun! Whoever adopts Afro Puff will have a home full of love and fun! -----

Story
Balayage is a 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Miniature Poodle mix with the softest coat and the most soulful eyes you’ve ever seen 💛 She is truly the sweetest little thing, just still learning that the world—and people—can be safe and kind. It’s clear Balayage didn’t have much human interaction or affection in her past, so she can be a bit timid at first. She may flinch when you reach for her, but almost immediately follows it up with the cutest, quickest little kiss before scampering off to regroup. It’s her way of saying, “I want to love you… I’m just still figuring it out.” And once she feels comfortable? She is an absolute world-class cuddler. Balayage (who also responds to Ginger) is blossoming more every day. With the help of her foster dog buddy, she’s learning how to “be a dog” and is picking things up quickly—she’s mastered stairs, is doing great with pottying outside, and even uses pee pads indoors as she continues to learn. She’s incredibly eager to please and responds beautifully to gentle encouragement. In fact, she’s been wonderfully calm during baths and even tolerates the hair dryer like a pro! She would thrive in a home with another dog to help guide her, as she gains confidence by watching her furry friends. She loves having a cozy bed of her own and sleeps quietly on the floor next to yours, though she’d likely be thrilled to join you in bed if invited. Balayage will need a patient, understanding adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to fully trust. Positive reinforcement is key—she truly wants to do well, but harsh corrections will only set her back. She’s still figuring out toys, though she’s starting to enjoy enrichment games where she can “hunt” for treats. She gets along well with other dogs and has been good with children, though she remains on the shy side. She rides nicely in the car and is generally quiet, though she may occasionally bark at the TV or unfamiliar people inside the home—something she’s already improving on. Outside, she’s much more relaxed and doesn’t react to new people. Balayage would do best in a calm, quieter home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. With a little patience and a lot of love, this incredibly sweet, gentle girl is going to make an amazing, devoted companion. And once she trusts you, those soft cuddles and loving eyes will absolutely melt your heart. -----
