Story
Hi, I’m Voyage. I’m a 5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a tiny ball of fun with energy to spare! I follow my humans everywhere like a happy little shadow. I’m curious about everything — every sound, every movement, every new corner of the house. I’m super smart and learn things fast. I figured out how to use the stairs and I help myself onto the couch whenever I want — it’s my favorite place to lounge and keep an eye on my people. I’m still learning how to be polite with other dogs. I’m not mean, just a little sassy and still figuring out doggy manners. I don’t need to be an only dog, but I do need someone patient who will let me warm up to new dogs at my own pace. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’ve seen chickens from a distance and didn’t chase them, so that’s promising. I absolutely LOVE giving kisses, and I’m a total cuddle bug. I snuggle right up in bed with my humans; I just want to be close to someone who loves me. I go outside with the other dogs to potty, and I’m doing really well with my routine. I’m playful, affectionate, full of personality, and ready to be someone’s best little companion. If you’re looking for a smart, sweet, energetic pup who will adore you endlessly… that’s me! -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Hi, I’m Decker — professional zoomie runner, snack enthusiast, and champion snuggler! Decker is a five-month-old, 12-pound puppy with the sweetest soul and the biggest personality. Known as Little One in his foster home, he greets the people he loves with full-body wiggles and nonstop enthusiasm. Decker has classic little brother energy, especially with his littermate and best friend, Helm. Together they sprint, wrestle, and play for hours, with Decker often providing a soundtrack of adorable “gremlin” noises when playtime gets exciting (something he’s learning to tone down). While he absolutely adores Helm, Decker is also a sweet boy who enjoys time with his human. Decker can be shy with people at first, but he warms up quickly once he gets to know them. He’s playful with other dogs, especially those who enjoy puppy energy. If another dog barks at him, he may bark back — confident little guy who is overall friendly and playful. Decker’s favorite things include chew sticks, toys, and anything he can gnaw on 🦴, peanut butter Kong treats, food or snacks in general — especially anything others are eating, zoomies and backyard sprints, wrestling and playtime, belly rubs, being picked up, and cozy morning snuggles. Decker is food-motivated and a great eater who sometimes needs a little help getting food out of the bowl because he’s little and not used to wet food and kibble. He’s also doing great with potty training— no accidents as long as he gets frequent, consistent potty breaks. He already understands “no,” listens well, and is eager to learn. Visually, Decker has a soft black-and-white coat, expressive eyes, and the sweetest spotted puppy belly that’s always ready for belly rubs. He is affectionate, playful, and loving — a puppy who wants to be close to his people and will flourish in a home with another dog. "

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.**Brad and Scout: Bonded Brothers**   *King Charles Cavalier-Dachshund-Chihuahua Mix* **Background**   Brad and Scout are a unique pair of 5-year-old mixed-breed dogs, consisting of Cavalier King Charles, Dachshund, and Chihuahua, rescued during a hoarding raid. They are the only two remaining from their previous family and seek a forever home together. It is crucial for their well-being that they stay together, as they have formed a special bond. **What Brad and Scout Need**   Brad and Scout are not just looking for a home; they are searching for best friends. With the right amount of love and patience, you will gain two very loving and devoted companions. They are young and have many years ahead of them to be your loyal friends.  Please note that Brad and Scout require an ADULT-only home to ensure they receive the appropriate care and attention.  Brad is outgoing and loves sleeping with you at night, burying himself under the covers, and falling asleep in your arms or lap. He is very affectionate with the person he bonds with and wants to cuddle and be by their side, wherever they go. On the other hand, Scout is more cautious and shy and will need time to come around independently. He enjoys being talked to and will take treats from your hand. Once he is out of the busy, often chaotic rescue environment and in a warm and loving home, we believe he will begin to open up to his new family.  Brad has a vibrant personality. Although he may be initially shy and reticent, he will start to trust you once he realizes you are a friend. After spending the night with you, he will become your new best friend by morning. Brad loves to follow you everywhere, and Scout will follow him, as he also wishes to feel loved and petted, even if he is too shy to seek it out. **How to Meet and Adopt**   Brad and Scout have been switched to a human-grade diet, avoiding kibble in favor of a specifically tailored, healthy canine feeding plan. We have provided them with the best care possible and will continue to support their new owners with guidance on their diet and nutrition. To adopt Brad and Scout, a special bonded pup adoption fee of $595.00 applies. All funds will cover medical expenses and help rescue more dogs.  Please fill out the online application form using the following link.   Please be thorough in your answers and expound whenever possible so we can get to know you and make the best match.                                               https :// rompinpawsrescue.com Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 1, 2025, 9:05 pm

Story
We got Otto from a pet shop prior to having our third child. He’s always been a very sweet dog and played very well with our children. As we’ve adjusted to having 3 young children we feel like we are not giving him our best and he would be happier somewhere new. He is about 2 and a half years old and he loves playing with kids and other dogs.

Story
3-year-old Cocker Spaniel | Princess Energy Included 👑 Phoebe is a beautiful 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel who came to us through no fault of her own. She was deeply loved and cherished, and now she’s ready for her next chapter with a family who will spoil her just the way she deserves. This sweet girl has it all — she’s been raised with young children, does wonderfully with other dogs, and is even cat-friendly. Phoebe truly just loves love. If there’s a lap available, she’ll find it. If there’s a couch to share, she’s already curled up on it. Cuddling is her specialty. Phoebe is crate-trained and her potty manners are on their way to perfection. She’s the kind of dog who will happily join you on PNW adventures — beach days, forest walks, weekend getaways — and then snuggle up beside you at the end of it all. Phoebe does have a history of being a bit of an escape artist, so a secure, fully fenced yard will be required in her forever home to keep this princess safe. Phoebe is spayes, will be microchipped, brought up to date on vaccinations, and receive a full veterinary exam as part of her adoption donation. If you’re looking for a loving, family-ready companion who brings both adventure and affection, Phoebe is ready to meet you and start her happily ever after. 💕

Story
Meet Daysi,Daysi is a peaceful and calm dog who loves quiet moments and enjoys simple activities like going for walks and visiting the beach. She's a laid-back dog who thrives in a tranquil environment, so she'd do best in a home where she's the only pet and there are no young children. Daysi enjoys her outings but is also very lazy at home and loves to relax.Although she was found wandering the streets, Daysi is now looking for a loving home where she can enjoy peace and quiet. She's not a fan of cats, and she's not interested in being in a busy, noisy environment. She's a sweet companion who just wants a peaceful, gentle life. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Story
My name is Luca. I’m a 2-year-old boy, just 6kg, and a Cocker Spaniel mix with a very gentle heart. I may be so quiet and small that you don’t notice me at first. I’ve learned how to make myself small. I had to. I was rescued from an animal hoarding site where more than 80 dogs lived in a space with barely room to move. To survive there, I curled my body in tight and stayed very still. I didn’t bark. I didn’t fight back. Even when other dogs were rough with me, I endured it silently. That was the only way I knew how to stay safe. Now, for the first time in my life, I’m learning what it means to be in a person’s arms. At first, I’m a little cautious when someone reaches out to me. People are still new to me. But little by little, I’m learning that hands can be warm, gentle, and comforting. As time passes, you’ll see something very special about me. I start to come closer on my own. I sit quietly beside you. I lean into you. That is how I show my heart. That is how I ask for love. I am extremely gentle, very small, and very, very sweet. I sometimes use pee pads, but because home life is completely new to me, I will need patient guidance as I learn. Everything in a home is a new experience for me, and I’m still figuring out the world. Because I lived surrounded by so many dogs for so long, I may feel anxious when left alone. If possible, I hope to find a family who can spend a lot of time with me and help me feel safe. I spent my life curled up in dark, crowded spaces just trying to protect myself. Now, I’m hoping to learn how to relax, how to lean on someone, and how to live wrapped in love. I’m waiting for my first… and last… real family. Love, Luca 🐶
