But once she was cleaned up and shown a little love, her true personality bloomed — and she has been shining ever since. Just like her name, Daffodil is bright, sweet, and impossible not to adore. She loves to play and proudly carries her favorite toy everywhere she goes. She may nudge you for attention now and then, but that’s only because she has so much love to give. Daffodil is:• Crate trained• Potty trained• Well-behaved and eager to please• Smart and already knows “paw,” “sit,” “stay,” “crate,” and even “catch!”• Well-socialized and does great with her foster sibling Daffodil has proven she’s resilient, affectionate, and ready for a fresh start. We love twotwo sooo much. We need to rehome due to taking care of ailing parents out of country for an indeterminate extended stay. So far we have had her stay with friends when we travel or have someone housesit Her gotcha day was 2/22/22. She was born some time in November 2021 and we adopted her as a puppy. She is a mix of a shi tzu and cavalier. Within a few weeks in our family she was bit on her face. She healed quickly with minor dental with snagletooth smile. Since then she is super scared of other dogs and became more protective of myself and husband. She is trained. She will sit and do some commands. Completely house broken. He commands are sit, heel, leave it and free. She is great with people once she warms up. She can be left alone after walks and during work day without accidents Rarely ever sheds even when hair is kept long. Does get motion sick in the car. We give her otc medication when we go out roadtrips recommended by vet and works well.

His foster family reports: "It's quite accurate to describe him as a toe-biter since he is too small to reach our ankles!" Mocha is learning to nibble on his toys (and not toes) and is pretty consistent about using the puppy pad in his playpen. He is using a puppy pad due to the inclement weather and because he is very small and low to ground, it's incredibly hard to tell if he's actually going potty or not. He will cry if he has been without attention for too long or it's time for his next meal, though generally settles down in his playpen for quiet time and overnight. His family should be prepared to be committed and show him the ropes of being a pet--everything from potty training, what to chew and not to chew, and basic obedience. He's really enthusiastic about play, chase, and finding treats and he's shaping up to be quite the smart pup!    All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered unless spay/neuter contract is signed with additional deposit.
