Story
We adopted Ossie about 2 years ago, when she had been found as a stray in Oakland, CA. She is extremely loving, and needs a home where she gets lots of attention, walks, and cuddles. Since the birth of our first born son, we just have struggled to give her what she needs.

She suffers from fear-based anxiety and can be reactive in high-stress environments, so she’s best suited for an experienced, adult-only household where she can feel safe and understood. She’s a cat in a pups body. Willing to transport to another state for no cost. **May be euthanized if not adopted soon**

Story
I had asked about the dog from a friend of the family who did not want the dog and wanted someone else to take him. So I did, which took some time at first but with some patience (and food), I was able to gain Simba’s trust to take him home with me. I did my best in terms of getting his shots, buying food, potty training him and get him to sit. He’s a good dog that needs someone who can be more active and can keep up with his expenses. I’m busy with school and trying to job hunt, so trying to have a balanced schedule, along with caring for a dog can be a lot, but I tried for almost a year now. Simba is about 3 years old, and is very playful, loves to be pet, hyperactive and loves food. He was an outside dog before I got him into my apartment, so he’ll love walks or just a space to run around. Loves kids than adults, and has some anxiety, so he’ll take awhile to warm up to you at first. Just show him care and love and he’ll come around.
