Story
FUN, FRIENDLY & HAPPY: Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 10 lbs. Hi, I’m Sirius! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me – they are so much fun to hang out with! Now I hear that I’m ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever! I hope to meet them very soon and charm them with my cuteness! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and though I wasn’t quite ready to play, I also didn’t show any aggression, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / I should not live with kitty cats! / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me as I’m very small. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a happy, friendly little guy who is sweet, cuddly, and full of fun. I’m active and playful, but I also love close snuggles and being with my people. The volunteers say I’m the cutest little happy guy, and I was very calm during my bath with no fears - I even seemed to really enjoy the body scrub and rinse! / Energy level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ command and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / I’ve been doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’ve only had a few accidents on the shelter schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy playing with toys, spending time with the volunteers, and going on walks. Once I’m adopted, I’m sure we’ll discover even more things we’ll love doing together! / I’m not a fan of walking on wet grass at the shelter and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on my annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I just had a dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again - and not the talking-back kind of fresh! I have a mild improving heart murmur that may be a result of needing a good dental cleaning, just ask for details. My coat was thin along my back and near the base of my tail when I came in, and it is improving now with good care and good nutrition. I’m on an over-the-counter joint supplement (Cosequin), which is good for all senior dogs. I had a cyst on my head that has been removed and my stitches/staples will come out soon. I’m a joyful little dog looking for a wonderful family to share that joy with. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga. May 22, 2026, 7:40 am
