Story
Meet Murray Mills, a 10-pound gentleman with a heart as big as his fluffy curls! He is around 10 years old. This sweet poodle mix is the perfect blend of calm, cuddler and occasional goofball — he loves to snuggle but will happily prance around when the mood strikes. Murray enjoys his neighborhood walks, but is a little grumpy if neighbors want to say hi to him. He seems to prefer to be the only male dog, but that could change if he meets the right one. He loves to run around our fenced yard! A happy boy, Murray also gets adorable spurts of energy and when he does his smile melts hearts. He’s fully potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and thrives on companionship, so he’d love a home where someone is around most of the time to keep him company. He does vocalize his dislike of his human leaving, but he does settle down. Murray sleeps soundly in his cozy dog bed, but of course, he is happiest when he’s close to his people, watching the action (or maybe sniffing what’s cooking!). Like many distinguished seniors, Murray has a few quirks — he wears a belly band due to marking ( lets him roam around with us and protects our furniture) and his vision and hearing aren’t what they used to be these days. He only has one good eye; the other one was not visual and was painful for him, so they removed it. He gets around just fine. However, he can be a bit moody or grumpy at times, so his ideal home would not have little ones that might alarm him. Sweet, social, and full of heart, Murray Mills is ready to bring warmth, smiles, and loyal companionship to his forever home.
