Story
Meet Lily, a sweet 4-year-old Maltese mix looking for a cozy forever home. She is gentle, friendly, and loves to be near her people, happily curling up beside you for naps and giving soft cuddles whenever she can.Lily is quiet and well-behaved in the home, and she’s almost fully potty trained as long as she gets a quick potty break before bed. She’s not destructive and can be left alone for a few hours, though she would love a family who will let her sleep in the same room at night so she feels safe and loved. She came to us with swollen paws, so we’re giving her time to heal before testing her on walks, but we can already see her bright spirit shining through. We’re not sure how she is with cats or children yet, but with her gentle personality, we believe she would do well with respectful kids who can give her the calm and kindness she deserves.Lily will thrive in a home where she can simply be your companion, following you around the house and soaking up every bit of love you have to give. If you’re looking for a quiet, affectionate friend to share your days with, Lily would love to meet you.Apply to adopt Lily and give this gentle girl the loving home she’s been waiting for.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old.
