Story
Hi! My name is Josie. I'm a 4.5 month old labrador retriever shepherd mix pup who was rescued from southern Arizona and I'm looking for my forever family to adopt me. Not only am I cuddly and pretty, my foster mom said that I'm one of the smartest puppies that she's fostered. I love all dogs and people! My favorite activities are playing with my bigger foster sibling dogs, going on evening walks in the neighborhood with my foster family, splashing in the pool from the 1st step, snuggling with my foster humans and dog siblings, and meal and snack time. The vet says that I'll be between 40-55 pounds when I'm full grown. Foster mom says I should mention that I'm spayed, up-to-date on all my immunizations (whatever that means), crate trained and almost completely house trained. Because I'm still a puppy, I still like to chew on things (I love to steal foster mom's flip flops!) so I'll need supervision (unless you like holes in your shoes). I need my new human family to give me lots of walks and other exercise opportunities. Applications in arizona are being accepted at luvofdogzfund.org/adopt/application

Story
Angelique found herself on the county’s euthanasia list when she arrived at the shelter with a large, open wound on one of her rear legs. Being in a loud, scary environment and in so much pain, she was fearful and shut down. We knew her story couldn’t end there. All she needed was proper medical attention and time to decompress. We pulled her from the shelter and took her straight to the hospital for wound care. While her leg took weeks of dressings and bandage changes, it was only a few days after leaving the shelter that our sweet girl came out of her shell and showed us just how much love she has to give. While a little shy at first, Angelique warms up quickly to new people, especially if she has a doggy friend or two to help her feel more confident, or, of course, if you tempt her with a treat! Angelique loves to watch TV by your side or play outside with toys and other dogs. Her fosters call her “perfect,” which is easy to believe because she is crate-trained, house-trained, walks well on her leash and knows basic obedience commands already! Officially ready to find her forever home, we only ask that her new family give her grace and time to decompress so she can learn her new routine in her new home. She would love a playful doggy sibling and prefers older children! We promise this angelic girl will reward you with a lifetime of the sweetest kisses and keep a smile on your face with all her silly antics! Angelique’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip. Story
ACTIVE. CUDDLER. LOVING! Birdie is a regal lady looking for her forever home to give her the love she so deserves. She just loves new people (even children!) and dogs (larger dogs she can play with are even better). There may be a touch of shyness in a new place but as long as she’s accompanied by her favorite people, she does well. She very much would love to be part of the family, wherever that takes her. Birdie enjoys hiking, walks in the neighbor, being outdoors and taking car rides. She will happily cuddle up next to you while you binge your favorite TV show! Birdie has mastered crate- and house-training, along with having impeccable door manners. She is very trainable and is doing well learning basic command and walking on a leash. Birdie’s adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, vaccines, spay and microchip.
