Story
Hey there! I'm Monkey!I'm a handsome, sweet guy on the search for my furever family! I sometimes take a bit to warm up to new people, but once I get to know you I'm the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for! I'm just a goofy boy who is ready to play all day! I sure can put a smile on your face! I would prefer a home with adults who know how to respect my boundaries, in return I will show you all the love and fun I have to give. Some might say I am the perfect roommate since I have experience in a home and I'm already potty trained! I can't wait for all our playtimes, walks, and snuggle sessions together! I don't mind other dogs or even cats, as long as they are chill like me. I would like to meet any resident dogs before going home to ensure a good match. P.S. I LOVE treats! Everyone says I am such a good boy! If you're looking for a sweet, low-key, well-mannered companion, please come and meet me! I will even show you all my tricks!I'm living in a foster home. Please contact HWB@aawl.org to schedule an appt to meet me.*A generous donor has sponsored my adoption fee, that means you can take me home for free!*AAWL requires that all adopted dogs leave with a leash and collar and all cats leave in a carrier.

WOW! Chesapeake Bay Retriever Boy!All dogs are located in south east Arizona between Benson and Willcox just south of Interstate 10!    Adoption meet and greets can be made through Carrie by email at fedwellfarm@yahoo.com, or by phone calls at 602-3161-8919 (no texts please)   I have never had a Chesapeake Retriever, in rescue or as a personal dog. This boy is amazing!   Nick aka Rusty is 8 years old and weighs 78 pounds. He is in great shape!   This sweet boy should be loving life with his person, but no, he was picked up as a stray by animal control!   Nick is very loyal, he is a bit protective when new people come between him and his human. So, he would most likely not be a great candidate for a family with children, just because children have friends.   Nick is great off leash! He will stick by his person through thick and thin and follow you until the end of the world.   Please come meet this fabulous boy! He needs to be in a home, not a rescue or shelter, he needs a human for him to love and bond with!   Although he is large, he would be great for an apartment or with somebody that is busy with work or school. He is not destructive and would be happy to watch Animal Planet while his person is not home!   602-316-8919 (no texts please)  May 4, 2024, 6:09 pm

Story
I got Kronus when she was just a puppy from a rescue. DNA tested through Wisdom Panel; Staffordshire Terrier, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Doberman Pinscher and retriever mix. She has always been an inside /outside dog her entire life, and is bathroom trained. She loves the water- pools, baths, lakes, rivers, etc. She will be 10 this December and looking for a great home for her to go to. Very sweet, loves people, and is great around other dogs. Trying to also adopt her brother Kane, which I'm also going to post up, together with her since they have been together since they were puppies. Due to my work schedule, and upcoming life and family changes, I do not have the time or attention to properly give to her or her brother. She has always been a great dog and she deserves better than what I'm currently providing. I have a full medical history for her and all shots will be updated right before adoption. Please reach out for any additional information.

Story
Odin I'm a super active fun-loving guy who loves to play, run around, and go on adventures! I like to go for daily walks, hikes, bike rides, or runs! I really enjoy playing in water and hope my new family has a pool or takes trips to the lake! Did I mention I love car rides and paddleboarding! I can be a little nervous around new people and dogs, so an adult only, dog savvy family would be my ideal home. I'm super smart and am treat motivated, so training will be fun! All it takes is a little patience and love to get me to warm up and once I do, I know that I am worth it! If you think we could be a great match, please fill out an adoption application to meet me! •Saving Paws recommends I live with adults only. •Saving Paws says I am a must meet with other dogs. •Saving Paws thinks I am a daily workout, meaning I need lots of exercise. •Saving Paws says I can NOT live with cats. If you can give Odin an indoor forever home, please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.com/adoption-form/ We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks. Thank you for your interest in saving the life of a dog.

Story
COURTESY POST   My name is Angel. I am a 10 years young and healthy girl who needs a furever home. My owner and I were homeless for 10 years. He died and I got abandoned on the streets months ago. I was microchipped by my caring friend Bob 8 years ago just in case I ever got lost. He found me!!!  Bob would love to be my new person but is unable to care for me. I am an energetic girl who loves to play with tennis balls and toys and given the chance will splash around in a shallow pool. I walk well on a leash and am potty trained. I would love a comfy dog bed or chair that I can call my own.   I show love by giving kisses and hugs but sometimes I get so excited I may nip when giving kisses. I sometimes get afraid around a new person and might nip at them if they hover over me or their face gets too close to mine. I just need a bit of time to wram up to people and you will love me. I really am a nice girl. I just need someone to work with me on my manners. I also have some separation anxiety and do not like crates.  I was spayed 8 years ago and got all my vaccinations recently. Bob has spent over $1000 on me already with this and boarding. He is asking just $150 for a rehoming fee to make sure I go to a new safe home or foster home. Bob will ask to see where I would be living to make sure I am safe. I appear to get along with other dogs, cats I have not encountered. I need a home environment and people interaction so that I can adapt to living in a home instead of on the streets. Please help me find a home.  If you can be Angel’s Angel and provide this deserving girl a furever home please fill out an application* at: https://www.helpadogsmile.org/adoption-application/ . Or you can call/text email Bob at 602-578-9949. His email is RCvanriper@gmail.com . *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up. May 6, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
If you are looking for a big dog that hates to leave the house....ie no walks needed. Who is gentle, quiet and housetrained....and could easily be an only dog look no further....Chuck is your guy! He loves to be at home with his people and is fine being an only dog! He loves to walk around a yard and rest in the sun! He is fine at home and not destructive! He just would love a quiet household where he can watch TV, lay by his people and have a few snacks! Low energy is his favorite mode. He will jump around to great you in the am and when you come home but otherwise he is a quiet and sweet guy.  Chuck would prefer to never go for a walk! His home is his castle and as a guy who was without a home for 5 long years his goal is to never leave his home:) He loves soft dog beds, cheese, quiet people and being at home!  Chuck does need a home with a securely fenced yard.  If you have questions about Chuck his foster would be happy to talk with you:) Mary 602 568 5219 please feel free to call after 5 or on the weekends or texting is great too! Chuck has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee of $350 helps offset the cost of medical expenses. If you live in the Phoenix metro area and think Chuck could be the right fit for you, please complete an  application found on our website:     Application *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool   used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match.
