Story
Carbone is a handsome black lab mix with a heart as big as his smile. Active, affectionate, and food motivated, he’s eager to please and quick to make friends. With a moderate energy level, Carbone enjoys playtime and walks, though he’s still working on his leash manners and will benefit from patient guidance. He’s friendly with other dogs and loves to romp, but because of his rough-and-rowdy playstyle, he’ll do best in a home with children 7 years or older. Carbone’s journey hasn’t been easy - he was originally found as a stray and after months of trying to find placement himself, his finder brought him to Lost Our Home. Despite his past, Carbone’s spirit shines through. He can be a little timid in new situations, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up and show his cheerful, affectionate side. He does have a history of breaking out of crates when left alone, simply because he hasn’t had the chance to learn that crates can be safe spaces. With slow, positive reinforcement, Carbone can build confidence and learn to settle comfortably. Carbone is a sweet boy looking for a family who will give him patience, love, and the chance to thrive. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will reward your care with endless affection, Carbone is waiting to meet you. Adoption Requirements: Older kids 7+ My adoption fee is $350 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market

Story
Ridley is a Boxer mix with a big heart and a deep bond to his people. He’s affectionate, expressive, and happiest in a calm, predictable home where he can relax and stay close to those he trusts. Belly rubs and booty scratches are his favorite ways to connect. Ridley has moderate‑to‑high energy and does best with routine and appropriate outlets. A long daily walk, consistent schedule, and calm handling help him regulate and settle easily at home. When his needs are met, he’s a well‑mannered companion who enjoys downtime just as much as activity. He has excellent house manners, is dog‑door trained, nail scratch‑board trained, comfortable being home alone, and does not require a crate. He is sensitive to busy, chaotic environments and would do best in a quiet, adults‑only home with no other pets. While not a dog‑park type, Ridley is deeply loyal once trust is established and gains confidence from being with his people—ideally in a home with more than one trusted adult. Ridley is treat‑motivated and responds best to calm, clear, and consistent guidance. His medical care is straightforward and well managed; he receives monthly Librela injections and does best with a consistent diet and daily medication given easily with meals. Ridley’s ideal home values structure, routine, and a peaceful environment. A yard is a plus, but patience and consistency matter most. Adoption requirements: Behavior consult, adults‑only home, no other pets.
