Story
Fender is 6 years old and neutered. Crate and potty trained He loves car rides and LONG naps on the couch. He is an expert at keepaway, and loves new bandanas and collars. He is really mellow but enjoys a good game of chasing zoomies. He isn’t very keen on small children, but does well if they are 10+. We think he would be best suited for an active family with no current pets (cats/dogs/horses). Fender has good manners in a home and is a very nice boy. He comes with a basket of his favorite toys, a fully filled container of food (~20lb), food and water dish, all of his beloved collars and bandanas, a doggy bed, the remainder of his treats, a car seat cover, and a leash. With all the stuff he is coming with, and to ensure he goes to a good home, would like a $150 rehoming fee. ***THIS IS A COURTESY POST** if you are interested in meeting Fender or learning more about him, please visit our website luckydogrescue.org and click on his picture. There will be a link to an fill out an application below his bio.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Goose and Maverick were found eating out of a trash can in a remote area of northern AZ. These boys were shy and friendly, clearly not used to much human interaction but very much craving it. From the moment we welcomed them into the Paw Placement family, they were nothing but sweet and loving. They were also unfamiliar with the world and many things our own pet dogs find normal - such as a leash, tile floors, cozy blankets, nutritious food. But these boys quickly learned what the good life looks like, and they are blossoming in their foster homes. Goose is loving and affectionate, smart and eager to please, playful and energetic. He adores his doggy foster siblings, and we'd be hard pressed to find a home without another dog that we'd be willing to place him in. For the first 5 months of his life, Goose knew nothing but life with his brother Maverick and, while it would be unhealthy to keep the brothers together (google Sibling Syndrome if you're not sure why), it would be best to place both boys in a home with another dog as they rely so heavily on other dogs for comfort and security. Goose is house and crate trained in his foster home. Though their breed is a mystery, they look like they might have some retriever, some chow chow, along with a mix of likely many other breeds. Their coats are similar to retriever coats, smoother and shorter than you'd expect from a chow. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application. We will only be able to email those applicants that are approved to schedule a meet and greet. Thank you in advance for your understanding if you don't hear back from us regarding your application.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 2, 2024, 9:43 pm

His ideal adopter is experienced, and has other pups, because Crush LOVES dogs. Dog friendly! Cat friendly! Extremely smart! Story
Cowboy was one of of 92 dogs chained up on a property in Mississippi, the owner of the property said Cowboy would probably be the only dog we wouldn’t be able to take, due to him being "human-aggressive". We promised him we'd get him off that chain. When we got Cowboy off the chain he had lived on for 7 years, I had a different dog in front of me. A friendly dog! We made the trek back to AZ, and Cowboy is EASILY the happiest dog I have ever met! Every day he wakes up, bouncing and prancing like “Omg! I can’t believe I get to see you guys again!!!” Cowboy would do best with someone who enjoys being active! He LOVES to run next to us on the bike, and the skateboard, and is an all-star at the slatmill! I would say he’s making up for lost time! He does well on leash and great in public. He would do best with female dogs, but no cats. Cowboy is shy, sweet, and has a very forgiving heart. Interested in adopting Cow? WOW! Chesapeake Bay Retriever Boy!All dogs are located in south east Arizona between Benson and Willcox just south of Interstate 10!    Adoption meet and greets can be made through Carrie by email at fedwellfarm@yahoo.com, or by phone calls at 602-3161-8919 (no texts please)   I have never had a Chesapeake Retriever, in rescue or as a personal dog. This boy is amazing!   Nick aka Rusty is 8 years old and weighs 78 pounds. He is in great shape!   This sweet boy should be loving life with his person, but no, he was picked up as a stray by animal control!   Nick is very loyal, he is a bit protective when new people come between him and his human. So, he would most likely not be a great candidate for a family with children, just because children have friends.   Nick is great off leash! He will stick by his person through thick and thin and follow you until the end of the world.   Please come meet this fabulous boy! He needs to be in a home, not a rescue or shelter, he needs a human for him to love and bond with!   Although he is large, he would be great for an apartment or with somebody that is busy with work or school. He is not destructive and would be happy to watch Animal Planet while his person is not home!   602-316-8919 (no texts please)  May 4, 2024, 6:09 pm
