Story
Daisy has had quite a journey in her young life. Born around May 2022, she was first rescued from a Texas hurricane in 2023, and most recently came to us after her beloved mom passed away. Though her world has changed, Daisy’s heart remains as sweet and gentle as ever. We are truly grateful to have her in our rescue — she’s been nothing but a joy.At about 53 pounds, Daisy is the perfect medium-sized companion: big enough for snuggles, small enough to fit comfortably into any home.Described by her mom as playful, smart, and endlessly curious, Daisy loves watching (and chasing!) birds and lizards in the backyard. She’s also a big fan of squeaky toys, and her happy squeaks are guaranteed to brighten your day.Daisy has two weeks of professional training from Destination Dog Training under her belt. She knows her basic commands, comes when called, and walks nicely on a leash. She’s used to having access to a doggy door, which she uses responsibly for potty breaks — and for her favorite pastime, sunbathing. This lovely girl has endured a lot, but she remains full of love, hope, and the gentlest spirit. Daisy is ready to bloom again in a home where she can feel safe, cherished, and part of a family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a sweet soul, Daisy might just be the perfect girl for you.

Story
Sparky is a 3 year Lab/Border Collie dog mix. He has a cute personality. The fact that he has one ear down and one ear up at all times is a good indication of his playfulness .He knows basic commands like sit, shake and is fully potty-trained, with no accidents. He can be a cuddlebug/lover boy, and really enjoys rubbing up on his favorite people and he always appreciates being able to lay on your legs when you sleep. When he meets new people, he can get excited, and expect him to be jumping up and seeking affection. He has never met a person he doesn't like! When it comes to playing,He loves to chase balls, but he is not so fond of giving it back to you. :) He loves to chew on balls and at times will play with a Kong toy when he gets excited but most of the time he prefers to just run around. He is an active playmate. (We have lots of videos we can share ) We do not crate him when we leave, and can be gone for hours with everything fine so he can be trusted not to potty or destroy things. That being said, we are careful not to leave items out because he can be a chewer. He has been prone to ear infections so needs to he on a specific food. He is quite an independent guy, and a lovebug, and so friendly. He gets nervous at the vet so I hold him for these routine appointments that simply help him live a better life. A good fit for him would be a home where he can be the center of attention (he loves to nap outside when the weather is nice. He would also do well with a teenager who could give him daily walks or run around with him and play. He also shares a bed with a cat, and does not seem to have any prey drive with her although he can be curious when she roams the house. We are not sure of interactions with smaller children. Story
Meet Bisbee — a 2-year-old Labrador mix with a goofy grin, a constantly wagging tail, and a heart overflowing with love. Life hasn’t been easy for this sweet boy—found on the streets as a puppy, he faced hardship far too young. Bisbee was once adopted, but sadly, his family couldn’t provide the stability he needed, and as their circumstances changed, they heartbreakingly returned him to us. It absolutely shattered our hearts for this incredible boy who had already been through so much. But Bisbee’s story is one of resilience, growth, and second chances—and right now, he’s writing his best chapter yet! He’s been thriving in a professional Board and Train program, and he’s absolutely excelling. Bisbee has been having a blast in playgroups with pups, being a perfect gentleman on outings to patios and Home Depot, and just truly becoming the best companion. His confidence is blossoming, his anxiety is easing, and he’s showing just how smart, adaptable, and eager to please he truly is. With his playful energy, affectionate nature, and silly personality, he’s been winning over every single person (and pup) he meets. Bisbee is now ready for a forever family who will continue to nurture his training, celebrate his progress, and give him the stability and love he’s always deserved. If you think you could be that family, please submit an adoption application at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications. Once we receive your application, we’ll happily answer any questions and set up a meet-and-greet so you can experience the joy of meeting Bisbee in person.
