Story
Carbone is a handsome black lab mix with a heart as big as his smile. Active, affectionate, and food motivated, he’s eager to please and quick to make friends. With a moderate energy level, Carbone enjoys playtime and walks, though he’s still working on his leash manners and will benefit from patient guidance. He’s friendly with other dogs and loves to romp, but because of his rough-and-rowdy playstyle, he’ll do best in a home with children 7 years or older. Carbone’s journey hasn’t been easy - he was originally found as a stray and after months of trying to find placement himself, his finder brought him to Lost Our Home. Despite his past, Carbone’s spirit shines through. He can be a little timid in new situations, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up and show his cheerful, affectionate side. He does have a history of breaking out of crates when left alone, simply because he hasn’t had the chance to learn that crates can be safe spaces. With slow, positive reinforcement, Carbone can build confidence and learn to settle comfortably. Carbone is a sweet boy looking for a family who will give him patience, love, and the chance to thrive. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will reward your care with endless affection, Carbone is waiting to meet you. Adoption Requirements: Older kids 7+ My adoption fee is $350 and includes the following: -Spay/neuter surgery -All current vaccinations -Microchip -FREE wellness exam through VCA Animal Hospitals -$25 gift voucher from our friends at My Pet Market

Story
Meet Anya — a gentle soul ready to start her new beginning. Anya recently joins our rescue and is ready for her fresh start at life. Anya was trapped by HARTT as a stray. She was then transferred to the Arizona Humane Society where she found herself on the E-List for being shy and scared. At barely a year old, Anya has definitely had a rough start to life, but we see so much potential in her. She’s rightfully very nervous and shy as she continues to decompress, but we know with time and patience she will blossom into the most amazing girl. Stay tuned for more information as we get to know Anya and get her ready to find her forever home.

Story
Meet Gournay! Gournay and her sister join us after being at E-Listed at county for being scared and shut down. The last few weeks they’ve been settling into their foster home and are doing amazing! Gournay (black and white) and Friesan (tan and white) have spent the last few weeks decompressing, building confidence and working on basic skills. A few weeks ago, both dogs would walk leaning against each other — now they are able to walk on either side of their foster. Still shy to warm up, these girls are so sweet and have so much love to give. They’ve learned to love toys and playtime, followed by cuddles and a nap together. Gournay and Friesan are crate, house and potty trained and working on basic commands. While these two love being around each other, their foster has taken the time to work with each dog individually to help build their confidence and independence. They are great with one another and would love to go to a home as sisters. Gournay and Friesan have blossomed into sweet and playful girls. With continued training and confidence building they will grow into the most amazing dogs. They would enjoy an active home that will continue to provide them structure and routine.

Story
Meet Cole! A sweet, young boy ready for a real chance at a family. Cole joined ANM after being E-Listed for being scared at the shelter. Cole has already come out of his shell showing us just how amazing he is. Cole is currently building confidence and works on his basic skills every day. He walks well on leash, non-reactive to other dogs when passing and is continuing to improve his leash manners. He is an energetic, wiggly pup working on his basic commands and manners. Though energetic and loving to play and zoom around, Cole is an absolute sweetheart that loves affection. He solicits pets and gets very happy when you comply to his request. Cole would thrive in a home that could provide structure and routine to continue building his confidence and working on his basic manners.

Story
Looking to rehome our GSP, he will be 3 years old in March. He is high energy and a great dog. He is fixed, loves to swim and be outside. Current on rabies. We are rehoming him because he has recently become aggressive towards his son dog who just turned 1 year old. He is not aggressive at all with our female dogs or kids. He also is very social with all dogs male and female when at the dog park. We would ask a minimal rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a great home. (Fee waived with the right fit). He is a great dog and would be best with home with female dogs or a solo situation.
