Carbone is a handsome black lab mix with a heart as big as his smile. Active, affectionate, and food motivated, he’s eager to please and quick to make friends. With a moderate energy level, Carbone enjoys playtime and walks, though he’s still working on his leash manners and will benefit from patient guidance. He’s friendly with other dogs and loves to romp, but because of his rough-and-rowdy playstyle, he’ll do best in a home with children 7 years or older. Carbone’s journey hasn’t been easy - he was originally found as a stray and after months of trying to find placement himself, his finder brought him to Lost Our Home. Despite his past, Carbone’s spirit shines through. He can be a little timid in new situations, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up and show his cheerful, affectionate side. He does have a history of breaking out of crates when left alone, simply because he hasn’t had the chance to learn that crates can be safe spaces. With slow, positive reinforcement, Carbone can build confidence and learn to settle comfortably. Carbone is a sweet boy looking for a family who will give him patience, love, and the chance to thrive. Cole has already come out of his shell showing us just how amazing he is. Cole is currently building confidence and works on his basic skills every day. He walks well on leash, non-reactive to other dogs when passing and is continuing to improve his leash manners. He is an energetic, wiggly pup working on his basic commands and manners. Though energetic and loving to play and zoom around, Cole is an absolute sweetheart that loves affection. He solicits pets and gets very happy when you comply to his request. Cole would thrive in a home that could provide structure and routine to continue building his confidence and working on his basic manners.

Gentle sweetheart, very smart, loves people and dogs! Ziggy is obedient and eager to please. He appears to be fully grown and has blossomed beautifully in his foster home. He is great on leash and LOVES to play with other friendly, active dogs. Ziggy's build is more compact than a typical Labrador Retriever, and lighter on his feet. His fur is silky smooth and easy to brush. He is a quick learner, VERY gentle, and full of fun. Ziggy has the sweetest disposition! Although he enjoys standing up on his hind legs, he is usually very good about keeping four paws on the floor. Ziggy is pure joy, a kind-hearted dog who is happy and very grateful to be in a foster home. Ziggy wants to please! He thrives on attention and is food-motivated. He sometimes "talks" when he's excited, and alerts to a knock at the door, but he is not an incessant barker. Ziggy absolutely absolutely loves his foster sisters, who are great playmates. He rests peacefully when it is naptime and enjoys chew toys. Ziggy needs an attached, private yard and at least one friendly, playful dog who weighs 40+ lbs will help him keep engaged and fit. He would like active kids but can easily do "dog playtime" when they are at school. Ziggy walks like a bit like a lion, runs fast, and sometimes stands upright like a bear. He is not reactive to dogs or humans, regardless of their size. He has lovely manners! Ziggy will be placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian. Our adoptions begin with a Foster-To-Adopt period, which is not feasible with remote placements.
