Story
Gunner was rescued from the dessert near the Indian reservation he was starving and needing water. Gunner is around 5-6 years old. Gunner loves children and he is an amazing listener. Gunner would do good with a family and he does love to go on hikes. He likes snow but doesn't much like the water. Gunner would do good with someone that only would be able to go on walks in town as well. Gunner has been around other dogs in the family and a cat. It's been awhile since he has been around a cat so a slow intro would be good. If you couldn't go on walks or hikes if he had a good size yard that would work too. Gunner loves one on one attention. He loves to be brushed. He prefers cold weather over hot weather. Coming from the dessert he doesn't care to lay out in the hot sun. Gunner is an amazing companion with a lot of love to give. My heart is sad to rehome him but I don't have a choice at this time. I pray he gets his forever loving home very soon!! If you meet him you will love him!!!

Story
Star is a wonderfully bright puppy who is good with puppy pads and loves to play with toys. She is a dignified and independent dog who is affectionate, gentle, and loving. She is a very smart girl who is food motivated making her easy to train. She can be a silly girl, jumping and playing with you at times. She is the last of her litter, and so she is in need of a loving home to care for her as she grows into adulthood. Star is a friendly dog who would be a great addition to any home. However, we are not certain whether she is good with other dogs, so she would do best in a home where she is the only pet. If you are interested in adopting Star, please come to the shelter today to meet her!
