Greetings, dear future family! My name is Gable, and I'm absolutely thrilled to introduce myself to you in the hopes of finding a forever home filled with love and warmth!
Allow me to begin by describing myself as quite the dashing gentleman - a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever Mix, with a striking black and white coat. Please note that I have completed basic obedience training (courtest of my fabulous rescue) through a wonderful board and train program, honing my manners and refining myself into the finest version imaginable! I have a fondness for leisurely strolls and possess a knack for quick learning, mastering an array of impressive commands that will surely leave you impressed. But here's the real treat - I'm a wholehearted goofball! There's nothing I enjoy more than playfully rolling onto my back, proudly displaying my belly and eliciting smiles all around (either as a singleton or with one of my more playful foster brothers or sisters).
In days gone by, new places and unfamiliar faces used to make me a tad uneasy. However, under the nurturing care of my foster mom, I've blossomed into a more confident individual, eager to showcase my newfound skills! And here's a little secret - my adoption fee includes the added benefit of meeting a rescue trainer, ensuring that my new family can seamlessly continue to build upon the foundation of knowledge I've acquired.
Upon our initial encounter, I might initially exhibit a touch of reserve, particularly around men. Yet, with a touch of patience, you'll soon witness my true nature - a creature deeply fond of both giving and receiving affection. Once I warm up to you, my loyalty knows no bounds - just inquire with my foster dad, who has assumed the role of my most cherished person in the entire world!
My spirits soar when I'm treated to regular walks and engaging exercises, which greatly contribute to my cheerful and well-mannered demeanor. If you're inclined towards hiking or jogging, count me in! I hold an immense fondness for frolicking in water, although I must confess, baths aren't exactly my cup of tea, hehe!
At present, I coexist harmoniously with other dogs of various sizes, demonstrating remarkable compatibility with most. It's worth mentioning that I've been trained in the art of meeting fellow canines with grace, making me an ideal companion for those with similar furry friends. Additionally, I shine brightly in the company of children spanning all age groups, though it's preferable that they're of an age where they've learned to treat dogs with respect.
