HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Hello there! I'm Chance, a 2-year-old female lab mix, and this is the chance of a lifetime to find my forever home! I'm so excited you clicked on my bio because now I get to tell you all about myself. First and foremost, I want you to know that I absolutely love my people, and I mean, LOVE them! I'm a big fan of snuggles, but I'm also content just hanging out near my humans while they go about their day. Now, let's talk about my favorite things to do – playing fetch with my awesome super-indestructible ball is pure bliss! I can also spend hours chasing after water as it sprays from the hose, and going for a walk (or run) around the neighborhood park makes my tail wag with excitement! I've been staying with a foster family, and they have nothing but great things to say about me! I'm well-mannered at mealtime, sitting politely before I eat, and I'm completely respectful around food, whether it's with people or other dogs. I'm house trained and kennel trained, and I know all my basic commands. Leash walks are a breeze for me – I walk like a pro! If you have other dogs, that's fantastic news because I absolutely love playing with my furry friends! Oh, and car rides? No problem at all! I'm the best passenger – I lay down calmly in the back and enjoy the ride without getting car sick. My confidence grows every day, and I'm incredibly eager to please. I'm up to date on my vaccines, spayed, and microchipped, and I promise to be the most loving and loyal companion you could ever ask for. If you give me a chance, let's meet face-to-face soon – we can go for a walk together and see if we're a perfect match! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1420598##

Story
Hi! I'm Coral! I have been in Colorado for 5 months now, so not exactly a "NATIVE" as you all like to brag about, but I am a Colorado girl at heart waiting patiently for my perfect furrever home!  At 1 years young, I'm a medium build, athletic girl that loves to be outside in the fresh air exploring. Perhaps we could be hiking or running buddies? My day job is wrestling with my foster brother. You could call me his personal trainer. Aside from that, some of my favorite hobbies include fetch (also known sometimes as "keep away," a VERY fun game), chewing bones, and defending my yard against those pesky squirrels. I also love a good game of tug-of-war! Sorry, but you likely will never win because I can dangle in the air by my teeth like a Cirqué du Soleil acrobat. I'm basically the perfect package – big dog attitude and athleticism packaged tightly in a compact 35 lbs! I'm extremely limber and agile, and occasionally practice parkour using the couch, to provide entertainment and keep myself in shape. I usually get quite a laugh out of the humans when I show off my stunts and antics.  When I'm not wrestling with my foster brother, I can usually be found lounging next to the aforementioned humans and following them around. Humble brag alert: I have the softest velveteen ears and a shiny, healthy ebony coat with tuxedo markings on my chest. I've also been developing some very sophisticated highlights recently. So, I'm all dressed up and ready to get ear rubs and be paraded around town like the beauty I am.  I'm not a picky eater, and I take treats very gently and eat well alongside my foster brother (the furry one, of course!). I even do chores! I'll politely insist on helping you load and pre-wash dishes in the dishwasher. How many other housemates can honestly boast that?!  Need help saving that precious Colorado water? Don't worry, I love to help you clean and prepare the yogurt cups and peanut butter jars for recycling–no water needed! I also am very comfortable in my kennel; I'll even go inside it on my own sometimes for a comfy snooze. I certainly have a lot of strengths, but if I had to name a weakness, it might be my excitement . Most humans find it endearing, but I might be a little bit much for the smaller kiddos, as I'm still working on keeping four paws on the floor. When I'm REALLY excited or have love I want to share with you, I sometimes jump up and stand on my back legs. I'm just medium sized, so I don't quite understand why I can't get a better view of things by standing upright and getting closer to you, but I've been working hard to "sit nice" in order to get my pets. And I do calm down pretty quickly. So, my ideal family would probably be one with older kids that enjoy a bit more exuberant play, and won't get upset if I forget my manners since I'm still a puppy at heart. I have three human kids in my foster family, so the bonus is that I am used to lots of activity and lots of their friends coming and going. And good news–I haven't met anyone I didn't like!  I got pretty sad and upset and cried when my furry brother had to leave me at home. So, I might really like to have another furry sibling–just make sure it's one that likes to wrestle, because I do enjoy a good throwdown!  TBH, sometimes I'm also a little eager on my leash, but it's just because I'm so excited to be outside in sunny Colorado. Can you really blame me? The humans say I'm doing a good job learning to heel, though, so I guess that's another checkmark in the *awesome* category for me!  My foster human family hasn't figured out why I got named Coral, but maybe it's because I'm part sea lion? My favorite wrestling moves involve repeatedly dive rolling and somersaulting under my furry brother, like a sea lion escaping a shark. Or, maybe it's because I roll on my back and hold my toys in my paws up in the air like an otter? They also think I might be part cat, as I do enjoy a good perch from which to sneak attack or pounce on my toys or playmates. I might also be part frog? I lay with my back legs like a froggo doggo all the time, which I've been told is REALLY adorbs . Either way, my papers have me listed as a lab mix. What EXACTLY I'm mixed with is an inter-species mystery just waiting for a DNA test. Come meet me and I can show you how incredible of a mix I really am, regardless of my species! I'll be pleased to meet you!
