Meet Nelson; a cheerful, loveable, playful, intelligent puppy! He loves to watch hocky, basketball, and adventure shows while snuggling on the couch. Nelson loves to play in the snow, creating tunnels with his nose and bouncing through the snowbanks! The baby pool is also a great place to play - trying to dive for tennis balls and other toys is grat fun! a cheerful canine companion with the perfect blend of playfulness, intelligence, and affection. Born around Christmas 2023, Nelson possesses a special charm that aligns with the festive season in which he was born. He lives with three other adult dogs so Nelson has already started learning some social etiquiette and how to read other dog's social signals. But of course it will be important for his new family to continue socializing this friendly pup! Rescued alongside his mother and siblings, Nelson has been nurtured with love and care by a compassionate couple who opened their home to him and his family. His happy and well-adjusted demeanor is a testament to the positive environment he has thrived in. While we can't be certain of his exact breed, he resembles a Labrador Retriever and has the lanky, long-legged stature of a Great Dane. There are certainly many other breeds mixed in his lineage. Nelson inherited his mother's amiable temperament and he will be a wonderful companion for some lucky family. Impressively, Nelson is already adapting to using the dog door and making strides in potty training, showcasing his quick-learning abilities. As an all-around delightful pup, Nelson is ready to bring joy and companionship to a loving forever home. Nelson is 3 months old and while he may look deceivingly large in his photos, he is really only 20 lbs so will likely be a medium sized dog like his mom (~50 lbs).
