Story
Meet Thor – the mighty god of thunder… or, in this case, the god of zoomies. 🐾 Thor is a 3-year-old, who was rescued from Louisiana, and he’s ready to trade in his southern roots for a new leash on life. With his striking looks, big personality, and boundless energy, Thor is the total package. Whether he’s chasing a ball, romping around with his doggy friends, or galloping across the yard like a happy hurricane, Thor lives for fun and freedom. This playful boy is super social and thrives around other dogs, making him an ideal buddy for a pup who needs a playmate. He’s got a heart as big as his paws and would love an active home where he can stretch those long legs, get his daily dose of adventure, and then settle down for some well-earned couch time. If you’ve been looking for a goofy, loving, and loyal companion who brings the thunder (and the tail wags), Thor might just be your guy. Ready to bring the thunder home? Head to happylifeanimalrescue.org to register for adoption. Thor’s waiting for his hero — could it be you? Let’s make his happily ever after happen!

Story
*Name: Copper *Age: 1.5 years old  *Current Weight: 67 lbs  *Rescued from: Alabama, fostered in NY!  *Adoption fee: $475 Hi, my name is Copper! I’m a Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix from Alabama. I'm not sure how but I landed at an overcrowded shelter and was running out of time, but thankfully SNARR stepped in to give me a second chance.  I really am a good boy with a sweet and friendly personality. I know how to "sit" nicely and I take treats gently. I previously lived with other dogs and cats and got along with them great, I love making new friends.  I’m told I’m a fast learner because I’m food motivated… but who doesn’t like treats?! I walk well on a leash, love to go on hikes to explore the wilderness, and I’m pretty damn handsome, if I do say so myself.  I just made the big trip up North, found myself a fantastic foster to stay with, but I dream of finding my forever home and family... Could that be you?  To apply to adopt Copper, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2576459##

Story
*Freddy's adoption fee has been sponsored by our friends at Another Shot Coffee Roasters!* Meet our big goofy boy named Freddy! Freddy is about 2 years old and he came to our shelter after he was found running around by the highway in town. Freddy is a very outgoing boy who loves everyone! He is a large dog who we believe could be a Lab mixed with a larger Hound breed. Currently, Freddy weighs about 70 lbs, but he is on the skinny side and we think a good weight for him would be at least 75 lbs. Freddy is a young and active dog who still has a puppy personality. He can get a bit jumpy when he is excited, but he is gentle about it. We believe he is already housetrained as he is very clean in his kennel and tries to hold everything until he gets a chance to go outside. When Freddy is in his kennel, he always carries a stuffed toy in his mouth and whines for attention. He would love to join a happy family! Freddy is good with other dogs and he tested non reactive in our cat room. He can go to a home with children 10 years old and older. If you are interested in adopting Freddy, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! His adoption fee has been sponsored by our friends at Another Shot Coffee Roasters! Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.
