Story
Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Theo is a gorgeous red and white boy that is a gentle giant. He is approximately 2 years old and weighs 72 lbs. Shockingly, Theo has been owned since a puppy, but his owner left on a “vacation” and never came back. The owner’s mom took over his care, but the gentle giant Theo is so submissive, all of the other dogs were bullying him to the point they were ganging up on him and attacking him. The new owner contacted us for help as her dogs attacked him so badly, he needed veterinary care as he was covered in blood and limping. We got him to the veterinarian where he received the care he needed, and we knew we could not put him back in that home, or death was imminent for him. So now, Theo is in a foster home, fully healed and now he is ready for his forever home! Theo is so submissive, gentle, kind and loving. He does not have a mean bone in his body. He would be wonderful with children of all ages because of how sweet he is. He is fostered with other dogs, and even though he was bullied and attacked, he still loves being around other dogs! He gets along with the smallest and biggest dogs. Please just make sure your dog or dogs are not bullies when considering adoption, as we do not want Theo to go through history again. Theo has met his current fosters kitties, and he does great with them. If anything, he is afraid of the kitties! He is house and crate trained. He is not a big fan of the crate, and you must give him a push to get in it, but once he is in, he sleeps through the night. We think even without a crate, he would do wonderfully sleeping on the couch or even your bed! Theo does amazing on a leash and would be great in a home that is calmer to medium active. He is not an overly active dog and is content with neighborhood walks or even just hanging out in the backyard. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, calm, loving, and all-around perfect boy, please consider adopting Theo. Theo will be neutered, he is heart worm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. Story
Thor is our large, fluffy lovebug who somehow manages to be both a big dopey goof and secretly brilliant at the same time. 💪✨ At around 4-ish years old, he’s past the wild puppy phase but still has plenty of playful spark. He’s the kind of boy who might trip over his own paws in excitement… and then turn around and impress you with how quickly he picks up on routines. Big body, big personality, even bigger heart. This handsome hunk is all about his people. Thor loves attention, leans in for pets like it’s his full-time job, and is happiest when he’s included in whatever you’re doing. Whether it’s a stroll outside or just lounging nearby, he’s content just being your loyal sidekick. Underneath all that fluff is a sweet, affectionate soul who’s ready to settle into a forever home. Ready to meet your gentle giant? Head over to happylifeanimalrescue.org to register for adoption and schedule an appointment to meet Thor. Trust us — once you experience the Thor lean, you’ll be hooked. 🐾💕

Story
Meet Vince — the sweet boy whose tail starts wagging the second you glance his way! This loving pup adores snacks, hunting bugs, and chewing on sticks or bones. He’s also a big fan of splashing around and playing in the water. Out of all his siblings, Vince is the best listener, already knowing basic commands like sit, down, and come. Vince is great with kids, walks well on a leash, and is housebroken. If he ever picks up something he’s not supposed to have, he’ll drop it the moment you call his name. He’s the last one to run out the door, always turning back to make sure you’re coming with him — because for Vince, adventures are better together. 🥰 Want a sidekick to follow you everywhere? Vince is your guy! Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hi, my name is Evan aka Quint and I have an interesting story to tell. If you can sit down and relax I will tell you about my short history! I am a gorgeous, approx 2 yr old lab mixed puppy who found myself in a bad way just 3 months old... like, hanging out at the gas station My face had injuries and scars and no one was there to care for me... UNTIL I won the "lost doggy lottery"!! People visiting on a mission to see their son graduate from Air Force boot camp the next day, found me! AND they didn't just leave me there... they took me to their hotel room (at the LA QUINTA INN..... :) and the rest is proverbial history!! They started calling around and the only nice person who actually answered her phone at 9:30pm was the founder of the rescue. One more phone call and one of the bestest people in the world picked me up at the hotel and brought me back to lost doggy heaven! Now I am awaiting the last awesome chapter to being a lost doggy and that is ADOPTION! I am about 60# full grown. I have a sweet and loving temperament and I love to play play play! I am a little bit silly and my personality EXUDES out of my pores like a sweet perfume! I am a big puppy with the greatest chance of my life.... I got a chance at a real life and I hope you will be the one to write my last chapter- with love, hot dogs and lots of cuddling and playtime!! So, if you are looking for me, I am looking for you!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
