Story
Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

These pups are in New Haven, Connecticut too!

Sweet Max was found roaming the campus of a local community college in Tupelo, when rescuers came to get him, he came right over, tail wagging. Since arriving in his foster home in the northeast, Max quickly made himself at home, he is a very calm and gentle boy. He loves to play outside but will need a fence because he will chase if he sees a squirrel!     Max thinks he’s a lapdog and loves to cuddle. He adores toys and bones and is totally housebroken. He is gentle with children and will make a wonderful family dog.            Please email if you are interested in adopting:  MARIAEFTIMIADES@yahoo.com   April 28, 2024, 2:25 pm
