Hes house trained, leash trained, crate trained, and obedience trained, making him an easy addition to the right home.Rowdy has never met a strangerevery person is a new best friend! He loves other dogs and enjoys running, playing, and chasing tennis balls (returning them is optional ). Despite his size, hes convinced hes a lap dog and makes an excellent cuddler. Because he can forget how big he is, hed do best with older kids and a fenced yard.Hes gentle with treats and happiest when hes near his people. If he feels ignored or has to wait too long to go out, he may borrow a shoe or sock to get your attentionbut he is fully house trained. Rowdy loves comfy couches and would make a great couch buddy. I’m an outgoing, relaxed, and playful guy who loves being around people. I’m great with kids and friendly with other dogs—though I usually just mind my own business and do my thing. I’m a well-mannered boy: I’m house trained, walk nicely on a leash, and I don’t need to be crated when you leave me home alone. When I need to go outside, I’ll let you know by heading right to the door. I know some basic commands like “no,” “sit,” and “shake,” and I’m always happy to show them off—especially if treats are involved (I love all treats and toys and I’m definitely not picky about food!). My favorite activities include playing fetch and tug, going outside, lounging around, and soaking up attention. I wear them all with pride. I’m about three years old, recently cleared of heartworm (yay me!), and finally learning how to just be a dog. It’s been a journey, but I’m figuring it out — slowly learning to trust new humans, understand other dogs, and navigate this whole “socializing” thing with my ears up and tail wagging. I am house trained and crate trained and walk well on leash. I’m a chill dude. Like, shockingly chill. I don’t get into things I shouldn’t, I get along with and respect the cats (truly, I lounge with them), and I really just want to be part of your world — preferably while holding your hand, licking peanut butter off a spoon, or sharing your morning snuggles. I’ve got a growing list of commands under my belt: sit, come, down, leave it, let’s go, and place — and I thrive on positive reinforcement (plus maybe a blueberry or two). Story
Bucky has a few years on him, but will make a wonderful companion for the right person. He can sit, stay, down on command (especially for Pupperoni). His owner is no longer able to care for herself or her pets. He is not terribly active and happy to lounge on the sofa! He's a friend who just wants to be with you :) He appears to have a grass allergy, and is on Apoquil for this, which is a prescription medication, but he might do well on zyrtec, which he hasn't tried. He has had excellent veterinary care his entire life, and his teeth are in great shape. Over the years he has tried some bad behaviors, which were not corrected, and has had maybe four or five incidents of food and leash aggression (hey, nobody's perfect!), so he needs to go to an experienced owner who will make him sit and stay before meals. He has not been around children. He will be a great companion for someone who is willing to give him a chance, and spend a little time bringing out his princely side!
