Story
Burrow is a very sweet and affectionate dog who loves being close to his people. He came to us after being taken in by another family, and we’ve been caring for him for the past couple of months while helping him find the right forever home. During his time with us, Burrow has made great progress—especially with going on walks. He’s becoming more confident every day and really enjoys spending time outdoors. One of his favorite activities is watching and chasing squirrels in the yard! Burrow is fully potty trained and has not had any accidents while in our care. He’s also naturally protective of his home and the people he loves. Because of this, he can take a little time to warm up to new visitors, but once he trusts you, he is incredibly loyal and loving. We think Burrow would thrive in a home with older kids, a couple, or a single person who can give him the time and stability he deserves. With patience and love, he will make a wonderful and devoted companion.

Story
Bailey is an absolute sweetheart! She was found as a stray out in the country which means somebody probably left her on the side of the road. She was positive for heartworm but has finished her treatment!! She loves being around people and she loves to play especially tug of rope. She is a talker and very treat motivated. She knows sit and working with her on paw and lay down. Now because of her age she still has the puppy tendencies but she loves going on walks but someone who is patient with her will be able to teach her that chasing cars is not okay. She follows my kids around the yard and plays with them and she loves the snuggles. She is incredibly smart and would make a great family dog. She is an all-around good girl who is just looking for a family to love me. If you think you could be that family, Located in North Texas, Transport fee included

Story
HeroMaleAge: 3 yearsWeight: 65 lbsBreed: Bulldog/Lab MixTrial Adoption Eligible Hey, I’m Hero — though around my foster home I also answer to Sweet Boy, Short King, Hot Dog, and Piggie. I wear them all with pride. I’m about three years old and finally learning how to just be a dog. It’s been a journey, but I’m figuring it out — learning to trust my humans, enjoy structure, and feel safe in my space. I’m fully house trained and crate trained, walk nicely on leash, and honestly? I’m a pretty chill dude. Like, surprisingly chill. I don’t get into things I shouldn’t, I enjoy routines, and I really just want to be part of your world — preferably while holding your hand, licking peanut butter off a spoon, or soaking up morning snuggles. I’ve got a solid list of commands under my belt: sit, come, down, leave it, let’s go, place, and now shake. I thrive with positive reinforcement (and maybe a blueberry or two). I feel safest with gentle structure, clear boundaries, and humans who recognize how smart I am and keep my brain engaged with walks, training, puzzles, and games. Some of my favorite things include watching baseball (from the couch), yoga (yes, really), fenced-in backyards, long walks in any weather, and being near my people. I’m deeply loyal, affectionate, and incredibly bonded to my humans once I trust them. That said, it’s important to be honest about what I need to succeed. Over time, it’s become clear that I do best as the only animal in the home. I have shown resource guarding and reactive behaviors when other animals are present, and for everyone’s safety, I need a calm, predictable environment without other pets. Because of this, I’m also not a good fit for homes with children under 15. I’m not a “take me everywhere” kind of dog — I’m a ride-or-die companion for the right person. The kind who will quietly love you with his whole heart, make you laugh daily with his goofy underbite, and show you what it means to be truly grateful to be safe, understood, and chosen. If you’re an experienced, patient adopter looking for a deeply devoted companion and are willing to honor my boundaries, I promise I’ll give you everything I’ve got. To help me find the perfect match, I’m eligible for Cause for Canines’ Trial Adoption Program! This gives approved adopters a chance to get to know me in their home before making things official. You must be an approved adopter to participate. Apply to adopt Hero at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $350. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 15+ ##2188352##

Story
Moose is a 3 year old chocolate lab. He’s extremely food motivated, loves to play in water, and is good with kids for the most part. The only issue we are having is when it comes to food he gets very frantic, semi aggressive. So if you have young children beware. He’s never had an accident in the house, is crate trained, and listens very well.

She loves to be near her people!Likes: Myra loves her walks, she loves to watch other dogs and people walk by her. She loves to chase the squirrels and birds and when she is not doing that she loves to zoom around the back yard. She loves to give kisses and plays tug with her foster brother dog. She likes to jump over the couch and low gates and give kisses. Obstacle courses are the best. Dislikes: She is good in the crate as long as her people are nearby. At night if you crate her, having in the room with you would be best. Myra has a very sweet face. She loves to sleep on the couch or go for walks. She enjoys car rides as well. She is very curious and loves to watch dogs and people walk be her. If you are interested in dog agility, Myra is your girl. She is very food motivated, she loves to run and jump and boy does she have some ups! She gets the zoomies pretty much every day, so being able to put that to good use would be great. Although this girl can hang out in a crate while you're at work, she would prefer having you at home so she can cuddle by your feet while you work. She would also need a home with lots of patience & treats, as she's learning some basics and does require training to teach her the way to be a proper lady.Likes Noel loves belly rubs & being able to lay in the bed with you! She's the softest girl and is happy to let you know that by snuggling up next to you and letting you pet her for as long as you're willing. Noel is also happy to do a stroll with you or have play time too! She loves a good game of tug or chilling with a good chew toy.Dislikes Noel is perfectly fine seeing furry friends on walks (except maybe a squirrel, that's her enemy #1), but she prefers it if she didn't have to live with another pup. She loves getting all the love and attention for herself. Noel is the type of dog that has a big heart & even bigger personality, so she's learning how to appropriately show her love. She gets super excited to see her humans & just wants to be loved on. Any human who is willing to give her the patience, the love, and the chance, will be rewarded with their own love of a lifetime. Noel's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. Livvy is a bit unsure in new situations and having a confident dog has brought her out of her shell. She loves romping around the backyard with the resident foster dog and a house with a fence would be required for her. Livvy hasn't been around kids and she does get startled by noises so young toddlers may not be the best for her. Likes: Playing with other dogs, eating ice cubes, splashing around in water, going on daily walks, stealing clothes out of the hamper, lounging on the couch Dislikes: Car rides, getting a bath, loud/scary noises, slippery floors Livvy truly epitomizes the definition of a Lab. She is extremely easy going and just wants to please. Once she settles in and trusts you, she is the absolute best girl. Livvy lived her entire life outdoors so it was an adjustment living inside, specifically getting used to the hardwood floors in her foster home. She's finally mastered them and walks all around like a champ. Livvy seems to enjoy the company of other dogs more than people, but she still loves her humans. Livvy isn't overly needy and she likes being around her people, but is also independent enough to go lay in another room by herself. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. Ill pop in for some affection, then happily curl up in my cozy dog bed (or my crateI like having my own little space sometimes!).Im doing great with my training! I use puppy pads when needed and am learning to go outside like a pro. I already know sit (especially if treats are involved ), and Im picking up on off and no like a smart girl.
