Bucky has a few years on him, but will make a wonderful companion for the right person. He can sit, stay, down on command (especially for Pupperoni). His owner is no longer able to care for herself or her pets. He is not terribly active and happy to lounge on the sofa! He's a friend who just wants to be with you :) He appears to have a grass allergy, and is on Apoquil for this, which is a prescription medication, but he might do well on zyrtec, which he hasn't tried. He has had excellent veterinary care his entire life, and his teeth are in great shape. Over the years he has tried some bad behaviors, which were not corrected, and has had maybe four or five incidents of food and leash aggression (hey, nobody's perfect!), so he needs to go to an experienced owner who will make him sit and stay before meals. He has not been around children. He will be a great companion for someone who is willing to give him a chance, and spend a little time bringing out his princely side!

He is a sweet dog; he loves attention and belly rubs. He was born May 1, 2021. He is fully house broken (He does not bark he just stands by the door and waits) and has been to obedience school. He knows all common commands. He comes with hes bundle of toys and collars one for walking and one for training. Hes been on Mills dog food which I can vouch has been a game changer when it comes to his skin /coat. But he does have upcoming vaccinations that will be needed around his birthday. He thinks hes a little dog so he doesnt know his own strength when he tries to get in your lap lol. Bad habits, he will get into stuff when you are not looking (no food/snacks laying in reach, paper (especially tissue). Thank goodness he is not a chewer meaning your shoes and furniture are safe but he does love socks (he just wets them up really good with his slobber). Jasper is a 3 year old German shorthaired pointer. He is the sweetest and most affectionate doggy. He is neutered, house trained and crate trained. Like most pointers, he has lots of energy during the day and loves to go on walks or run around in the backyard. During the evening, his favorite thing is to cuddle up with you on the couch. He gets along very well with our other dog and two cats. He rarely ever barks, which is something we really appreciate. Unfortunately, we had a very isolated incident occur when he was cuddling with us on the couch and our toddler accidentally startled him and Jasper nipped him on the cheek. This was very uncharacteristic of him, as he normally gets along really well with both children and adults. However, we are expecting another baby in February are just trying to be extra careful. Jasper is such an amazing dog and we are hoping to find him another loving home.
