Bailey is an absolute sweetheart! She was found as a stray out in the country which means somebody probably left her on the side of the road. She was positive for heartworm but has finished her treatment!! She loves being around people and she loves to play especially tug of rope. She is a talker and very treat motivated. I feel safest with gentle structure, clear boundaries, and humans who recognize how smart I am and keep my brain engaged with walks, training, puzzles, and games. Some of my favorite things include watching baseball (from the couch), yoga (yes, really), fenced-in backyards, long walks in any weather, and being near my people. I’m deeply loyal, affectionate, and incredibly bonded to my humans once I trust them. That said, it’s important to be honest about what I need to succeed. Over time, it’s become clear that I do best as the only animal in the home. I have shown resource guarding and reactive behaviors when other animals are present, and for everyone’s safety, I need a calm, predictable environment without other pets. Because of this, I’m also not a good fit for homes with children under 15. I’m not a “take me everywhere” kind of dog — I’m a ride-or-die companion for the right person. The Dynamic Duos Litter was born in a rural KY shelter 4/17/26 and joined RESCUEDohio a couple days later. We’re not sure what breed they are. We’re guessing they may have some bull terrier (based on mama’s looks) and lab, but we think they are probably a mix of several breeds. We don’t know who their dad was. Mutts are the best! Mama Cammie is an absolute sweetheart and these pups take after her! They are adorable, very happy and give lots of kisses! Cammie weighs 40 lbs. There may be some size variety between medium and large among this litter. The puppies can start meeting families now and will be able to go home with adopters 6/12 when they turn 8 weeks old. Adoption fee is $400. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm current.
