Story
Beebe was born on 9/19/2019. My daughters, wife and I have been with her since July 2020. Beebe loves to play and gets along with other dogs but we are unsure of cats. Beebe loves going on walks, is very strong, and loves to run. She is always very adamant about seeing other dogs so she is not a dog that is easy to walk on a leash in in crowded areas and does much better at the dog park when it comes to dog socializing. She is great with kids as she has always socialized with others at our home and visiting others. Beebe is up to date on all vaccinations and she does well at doggie boarding centers if needed. She has no health issues or concerns and is spayed and microchipped. She is house broken with no issues, and listens to commands: (sit, stay, go outside, go for a walk, no, go to crate. ) We are moving a cannot bring her with us. . Reach out with questions adopting her.

CocoFemaleAge: 11 monthsWeight: 35 lbsBreed: Lab Mix Hi! I’m Coco! I am an active and smart girl who gets along with other dogs as well as kids. I have not been around cats yet to know how I would do with them. I am house trained, crate trained and walk well on a leash too. My favorite snacks are meat flavored ones and I enjoy playing tug with other dogs, visits to the pet store and playing chase with other my foster fur siblings. At the end of the day when I am all tuckered out, I enjoy a good cuddle session as well. I already know commands like: “sit”, “crate” and “leave it”. I would love another dog to play with or an active family who will help me get all my young energy out. I am so excited to find my own family who will provide me all the love and attention and activity that I deserve and who will help along the way as I learn and grow! If you are interested in meeting this smart and cuddly girl, apply to adopt her at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $350. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 5+ ##2132598##

Story
AceMaleAge: 2 -3 yearsWeight: 74 lbsBreed: Lab Mix Hi there, I'm Ace! I'm a 74-pound lovebug with a heart as big as my paws. Everyone who meets me says I'm the sweetest, most gentle boy around—and I think they might be right! I get along great with other dogs and kids, and while I haven’t met any cats yet, I’m open to polite introductions. I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and I walk nicely on a leash—no pulling or nonsense. I know how to sit and stay pretty well, and I'm working on learning shake and down. I’m a smart guy and love to please, so training is a breeze with me. I’m not much into squeaky toys or tennis balls, but give me a good chew—like a rawhide or a bone—and I’m a happy camper. My absolute favorite thing in the world, though? Cuddling. I love to cuddle. I’ll curl right up in your lap like a little dog… even if I take up most of it. I also like to greet people with a big, gentle hug (don’t worry, I’m very polite about it). I’m calm, lowkey, and an old soul at heart. I enjoy walks and romping in the backyard, but mostly I just like being by your side—lounging, napping, and giving you those “best friend” vibes all day long. If you're looking for a loyal, laid-back companion who will adore you endlessly, I might just be your perfect match. Let’s snuggle soon? If you are interested in meeting Ace apply to adopt him at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $350. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 5 or older. ##2346530##

Story
HeroMaleAge: 3 yearsWeight: 65 lbsBreed: Bulldog/Lab Mix Hi there! I’m Hero! I am a fun and friendly 3-year-old pup who loves to run, play, and spend time with my people. I do not know how I would do around kids yet since I haven’t really spent much time with them. And while I’m a sweet and lovable pup, It seems as though I need a little extra help working on sharing my space and belongings with other dogs, but with some patience, training, and understanding, I know I can learn to feel more comfortable and relaxed in those situations. I am house trained, crate trained and I am great on a leash too. Right now, I’m undergoing temporary treatment for heartworm, so I can't run and play as much as I’d like to. But don’t worry, I’m still a happy, upbeat guy, and I’m really good at adjusting to a slower pace! I love cuddling on the sofa, chewing on my favorite bones, and just hanging out with you. I still enjoy walks (though I’m taking it easy), and I’m always ready for some attention or belly rubs. I love to eat dried liver treats and peanut butter and my favorite toy is Davey the Dragon and I like things that squeak as well. I’m super friendly and love being around people, so I’d be more than happy to keep you company and brighten your day! I may not be as active as I would like to be just yet, but I’m still ready to enjoy life with you—at a slightly slower pace! If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate young guy who can’t wait to be your cuddle buddy, Apply to adopt Hero at www.causeforcanines.org Adoption fee: $350. Must be an Ohio resident & 23 or older. Children must be 5+ ##2188352##

Her adoptive family's circumstances changed and she was surrendered back to RO to find a new, forever home. She's a black mouth cur and Lab mix, fully grown at 40 lbs. Leela gets along with other dogs and dog-savvy cats. She's not compatible with smaller children who may move quickly or run up into her face. She can be a little protective of food and needs to be fed separately from other dogs to feel secure. She would like lots of activity and someone who is around most of the time. Curs are hunting dogs and also very attached to their owners, as are Labs. She absolutely LOVES playing ball! She's good on leash and would make a great walking and hiking companion with a little conditioning. She's very loving once she knows you and definitely enjoys cuddles. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. River’s love for everything makes him super fun to be around, he is sweet, smart, and just wants to be wherever you are. While he loves to run and play, he also enjoys having a kong on the dog bed or laying on the floor with you while you rub his belly or scratch his butt. This spunky boy would love living with kids, dogs, cats but would do OK as the only pet in a home if he is able to get lots of love and go on outings with his people. Likes: Literally everything What makes this dog special: River is what we call a "forever puppy" where he’s got the looks and personality of a Lab, but is the size of a beagle! Cat Friendly: Unknown Kids: Yes, any age Apartment Friendly: No Fence Requirements: Physical fence preferred but not required with regular walks/exercise Crate Trained: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Ideal Home / Adopter: This sweet and playful pup is ready to find a loving home where he can thrive with plenty of attention and affection. Knox is a simple guy who finds joy in the little things—whether it’s playing with toys, napping in a comfy spot, going for walks, or just watching the world go by from a window. He loves interacting with other dogs and equally enjoys long naps on the couch. Above all, Knox adores his humans and will quickly form a strong bond with his new family, showering them with love and cuddles. Despite his playful nature, Knox is easy to manage, especially given his size. He’s happy to be held or cuddled and just wants to be close to his people. If you’re looking for a pup who will stay small in size but big in love, Knox might be your perfect match! Knox is eager to please, but he will need a patient owner who can help him with crate training to feel secure in his new home. The ideal adopter would be someone who is understanding as he settles in, learns to adjust to crate training, and works with him on overcoming his habit of counter surfing. Knox has been clicker trained and already knows how to sit and lay down and is working on leave it and stay. He will perfectly sit before he receives food or treats. It would be wonderful if his new home had a furry friend to play with, though it's not a must. He also requires regular exercise to burn off his energy and a cozy spot on the couch or a comfy bed to call his own. If you’re ready to welcome this loving and playful boy into your home, Knox is ready to give you all the love in return! Knox's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative. Meet Serena! Gender: Female Age: 1 year Current Weight: 40lbs Expected Adult Size: Medium (25-50 lbs) Breed: Lab mix Energy Level: Medium Dog Friendly: Serena lives with another dog and they get along swimmingly, however slow intros are required. She'll happily nap under your desk, waiting for playtime and fun breaks. Serena is a quick learner, treat-motivated, and loves to show off her skills whether it is performing tricks or solving puzzles.  Likes: Serena loves to play fetch. Much like her namesake (the OG Serena), she supports women's sports, whether she is playing them or watching them with you on the couch.  She is just happy to have you as her teammate.  Dislikes: Cats are terrible in her expert opinion. Just let us know if you want to see her credentials and full details of her scientific study.  What makes this dog special: Serena is such a loving and funny girl. From awkward sleeping positions to her array of hilarious vocals, this delightful girl knows how to communicate love and joy. Scoop her up before the competition!
