Story
Grimm is a 2 year old pocket sized pup looking for a comfy lap to cuddle up in. He is neutered, microchipped and uo to date on vaccines. Clocking in at 35lbs, he is perfectly portable and looking for his forever home. Grimm loves to go for car rides, walks, chew on bones and spend his days with his people. Grimm plays well with others, but he does play rough! He is dog-selective and has a bit of Napoleon syndrome. He does best with female dogs around his age that are more submissive than he is. Grimm is house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He can be possessive of food and toys, so should eat alone and always be monitored around other dogs if toys are involved. He is patient with babies and toddlers, but like any dog, should always be supervised. If you're looking for a scruffy best friend with a seriously cute underbite, Grimm's your guy!

Story
Liv is the kind of little dog who makes people smile the moment they meet her. This sweet chihuahua mix arrived at the shelter as a stray after going through some difficult circumstances, but you would never know it from her bright, loving personality. Liv has truly been a little angel at the shelter, happily making new friends with both people and other dogs. She loves going for walks, soaking up attention, and never says no to a tasty treat. Liv recently had surgery at WARL to remove a diseased eye, and she is now feeling so much more comfortable and ready for her fresh start. If you are interested in adopting Liv, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm. If you are unable to visit during those hours please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see what times may be available by appointment, Liv is looking for a home that will cherish her gentle, happy spirit and continue giving her the love and care she deserves. She may be able to live with respectful children, but everyone should meet first to make sure it is a good fit.

Story
Meet Milo 🐾 Milo is an adorable 11 lb shadow pup who loves being close to his person. Whether he’s relaxing by your side or following you from room to room, he’s happiest just being near you. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people, so he does best when allowed to approach on his own terms. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet and loving personality really shines. Milo gets excited for walks and enjoys playing with other dogs, especially those who are gentle and respectful. If a dog comes on too strong, he’ll let them know with a little growl—he’s just advocating for his space. On walks, he may get a bit over-hyped or nervous when spotting dogs from a distance, but he’s easily redirected and responds great to treats. He loves a good game of fetch and is always up for chasing a ball. Milo is also very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. At home, he’s an absolute dream—he sleeps wonderfully in his crate and is fully potty trained. If you are interested in finding out more about Milo, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Milo is being fostered in Grafton, MA. The adoption fee is $500. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
