Story
Meet Willow!Don`t let her age fool you—this 10-year-old Chihuahua is convinced she`s still a youngster, and honestly, we believe her! Willow is a happy, friendly little lady who loves meeting new people, exploring the neighborhood on walks, and soaking up all the attention she can get. Her bright spirit and youthful energy make it easy to forget she`s a senior.Willow previously lived happily with a big dog named Beau, so she may do well with a canine companion who is respectful and friendly. We get the feeling that she’d be happy as the center of your attention, too!Willow is scheduled for a dental procedure this Saturday (6/6) to help keep her healthy and feeling her best. Once she`s recovered, she`ll be ready to head home with her new family and start the next chapter of her life.If you`re looking for a loving, social companion with plenty of pep in her step and lots of love to give, Willow is ready to win your heart. Come meet this sweet girl—you might just find your new best friend! If you are interested in adopting Willow, please visit the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 12-4 pm during our walk-in hours. If you are unable to come during those times, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see what other times may be available by appointment.

Story
Kiwi will be 8 weeks old on June 8th! She is part of Peaches litter (also listed on our adoptable page!). Her mom, peaches, is a 17lb Chi/doxie mix, and we think dad was a Dachshund. Playful and inquisitive - who knows what she`ll discover next? As a puppy, she will need someone who is home for most of the day to provide a lot of attention and consistent expectations. Puppy classes and training are a must to ensure that she grows up to be a well behaved and loyal companion. She would do best in a home with kids 5+. Her foster says, “Kiwi is a spicy, go getter, and so fun loving. She is an independent little spirit. She is so brave and is the first to be running around the house.”Puppies will be dewormed multiple times, have had a wellness visit and their first distemper shot prior to adoption. A refundable pay/neuter surgery deposit of $250 is required. The surgery will be coordinated and paid for by BDC and done by one of our partner surgeons in Grafton or Franklin by six months of age, so adopters must be willing to comply with this MA regulation and within driving distance of those locations.-Puppies may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a puppy BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Good with dogs,
Story
Meet TroyBelieve it or not this sassy little guy was NOT named after our founder Marissa’s son — but they are definitely similarities. For one, Troy is a mama’s boy through and through.Troy loves his ‘mama’, or whoever he has pegged as his person or people. To know him is to love him Some of his favorite hobbies include watching movies on the couch, spending time outside just hanging out in the yard, oh and working part-time hours protecting the house from intruders. Troy gets along great with other dogs, because after all he is a DAWG. Troy has a great sense of humor, but he prefers not to be around kids— he wants to be his true self in his home.A quieter household with a small circle he can trust to express himself is his preference.  If you are a small breed connoisseur, who loves a spunky, and super cuddly Chihuahua — and their typical antics — please fill out an application because Troy needs you!  Ready for adoption in June/July - pick up Amesbury, MA please remember we are all volunteers &  incomplete applications will not be processed Apply to FOSTER or ADOPT today & get approved to bring a dog home. It is a simple & easy process - help us save lives ! If you are interested in adopting a GBP rescue PAL, please submit an application and we will reach out to you within 48 hours to start the approval process.   https://galsbestpal.com/adoption/ It’s ok if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for, we are experts in matchmaking and can talk with you and figure out what PAL would be a good fit for your home!   If you would like to inquire about saving a life & becoming a FOSTER HERO, please fill out an application and a FOSTER HEROES TEAM volunteer will reach out to you to go over our lifesaving foster based rescue program! https://galsbestpal.com/foster/ To learn more about our mission, and to join our mailing list go to https://galsbestpal.com/ Follow us on FB and Instagram for extra photos, updates & videos of our available dogs. We are constantly posting new content every day!  Thank you for considering a rescue PAL, there are so many in need right now!  XO, THE GBP TEAM PS - Please keep in mind, our bio's are based on feedback we have received from the current foster home the dog is in. We can never guarantee how a transition will affect the dog. GBP is here to help make the transition as easy as possible but time + patience are also important when adopting a new PAL. Breed Mixes & Ages are a best guess and can not be guaranteed** ##2752062##

This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)   To adopt or learn more about this dog, you must complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   PLEASE READ:     •    If a dog or puppy is listed, they are currently available for adoption. However, they may already be pending an adoption, and their profile may not yet reflect this.     •    All information is accurate to the best of our knowledge as of the posting date.     •    Unless explicitly stated, Sandy Paws Rescue does not guarantee the breed of any dog. Breeds listed are educated guesses made by shelter staff, volunteers, or veterinarians. Many of our dogs are mixed breeds, often with pit bull-type genetics, resulting in a wide variety of physical traits and temperaments.   Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.   Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.   For information on adoption fees, procedures, or FAQs, visit our website: www.sandypawsrescue.com.   The FIRST step in adopting from Sandy Paws Rescue is to submit a completed adoption application. ##2750923##

Story
Meet Socko! 💕 Socko is a sweet new arrival at Baypath, and we're already smitten with this adorable little lap dog! She loves being close to her people and is more than happy to climb right into your lap for some cuddle time. While she can be a little reserved when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and soon shows off her friendly, affectionate personality. Socko has done well with dogs her size, enjoys treats, and is food motivated, making her a great candidate for continued training and bonding. As we continue getting to know her, we'll share more about this charming little girl. For now, we can tell you she's sweet, social, and ready to find a family to call her own. 🏡
