Story
Super duper small breed alerts!! Rough and tough and…. Ha who are we kidding. These babies are everything but that. Whitney – 1 year old – female – 5.6 lbs – Fully grown – Darker color Glimmer – 1 year old – female – 5.0 lbs – Fully grown – All white Tofu – 10 weeks old – female – 4.0 lbs – Glimmers puppy – All white Mist – 10 weeks old – male – 4.5 lbs – Glimmers Puppy – All white These furry babies came from a hoarding situation where they were not well taken care of. Thanks to a foster of ours, we were able to help these 4 babies out of that situation, into a temporary, loving foster home. Are they all good with other dogs? YES! They came from a house with 20+ dogs and they get along great with the current foster’s dogs’ Are they good with cats? Yes! Cats are all bigger than they are. Kids? The puppies would be wonderful with children. The adults are a bit shy at first but come around and are very sweet Do they bark? Only when they’re super playful or see dogs/cats they don’t know yet. They do not bark at just the air, like some are known for House trained? Mist and Tofu are not house trained. Glimmer and Whitney are working on crate training. Will do great with one-on-one time and patience. They all love being held, it makes them feel safe. Mist and Tofu love playing with toys and are quite outgoing. All four have a habit of taking blankets from the others dog’s crates and trying to hoard them for themselves. Be aware of the blanket thieves! Whitney and Glimmers ideal home would be one that is patient, kind and has another dog for them to help them gain confidence. If there are no other dogs in the home, someone that is home and willing to socialize with them properly to ensure they continue to thrive and come out of their shells. They would do great with gentle, older children. Tofu and Mist are only puppies and would thrive in a home that is a bit more active. These puppies may be small, but they are mighty. They love to play with their toys and run around. They are not shy babies. We don’t believe these pups will get over 10 lbs, especially since mom is only 5 lbs! Adoption Fee Includes: Whitney/Glimmer – Spayed, current on annual vaccinations (Bordatella, rabies, parvo/distemper), heart worm negative, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, dewormed, microchipped and includes transport cost from Texas to the East Coast. Tofu/Mist – Current on Bordatella, 2 sets of parvo/distemper vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, dewormed, microchipped and includes transport cost from Texas to the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. Transport goes to the following locations: Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Story
Meet Tootsie! Tootsie is a shy/timid small chi From her foster home: Tootsie is very loving and gives tons of kisses. She is so thankful she was saved. Tootsie has "little dog complex" and likes to growl at everything/anything bigger than her but once she knows she is safe, you'll have a new lifelong friend. She does well meeting other dogs but is shy at first and sits in the corner. We think she will warm up overtime and come out of her shell when being around other dogs, it will just take some time. She weighs about 13 pounds and is around 3 years old. Tootsie was found as a stray with her 2 puppies and brought into Three Little Pitties Rescue. She prefers female humans over men, but is slowly warming up in her foster home. Her foster home is amazing and patient. Her current foster home has a 2 year old daughter and her daughter is gentle with her and loves on her. She is potty trained but has had a few accidents in the house the first week she has been there. They will continue to work with her until she finds her forever home! Adoption Application Questions? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! Story
Meet Meadow! This young girl captured my heart as soon as I saw her small frame chained to a dilapidated building.  She tends to have a big bark at first, but that is expected. Once you sweet talk her, give her time and show her you are her friend (treats might help) she will cuddle in close. This girl has learned sooooo much. She is currently living with 4 dogs: 2 big and 2 small and plays with them all. She also shares her 4 person home with 15 and 10 year old kids. She has mastered the doggie door in 2 days, is 99% potty trained and free feeds with her fur friends. She is used to crate training, although she likes to tell you she is not pleased with her yippee bark.  She is a snuggler: whether at night at your feet or on the recliner watching TV with you. She does like short walks around the pond or run around the back yard. She would love a home with a yard, but an apartment would be fine, as long as her family commits to giving her exercise and potty breaks. More than anything, Meadow just wants to be a part of your family.  Watch her videos: https://youtu.be/KP4hNnQ5YU4 https://youtu.be/ZJBMIShld2o https://youtube.com/shorts/Atuly614ofs?feature=share Please inquire by submitting an application to  mariah@threelittlepittiesrescue.org Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/62df5051b071ca6dd018d76f Available for adoption in NV, UT, ID, OR, WA and Canada! Story
Cat friendly cutie looking for a home with another calm, respectful dog or on his own! Pedro would prefer a lady in his life, and needs a home without kids. Someone who is familiar with Chihuahuas is a must! They are small, but mighty dogs who require someone who knows to issue proper corrections to ward off undesirable behaviors. Pedro is such a sweet, but spicy boy! We had him in a yard with three other dogs, they were very mellow calm dogs, he does not like high energy. He just likes hanging around and being with people and other dogs with the same energy as him. He is very easy on leash and easy to handle. When he is getting medical stuff done on him, we do always need two people because he does not like getting shots or his blood taken from him, he gets stressed out and will try to run away. Anyone can take him out for walks and all our volunteers love him. He is a bit shy at first but will quickly warm up to you and ask for love. He is also good with cats and likes to hang out with our cat tom petty. Check out a video of your potential cutie here! https://youtu.be/zY6HtqSmkVs Don’t miss out on this amazing pup!
