If you would like to apply to take MUNCHKIN home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. This little one came from a hoarding situation, we are estimating to be somewhere between 1-2 years old. Being taken out of that situation when it’s all you’ve ever known is a bit of an adjustment, they have just gone into foster homes, and with patience and a bit of time we are confident they can adjust into a normal life. Munchkin Munchkin was probably the most shy at intake, but within a few hours was already warming up nicely to her foster mom! None of the dogs were nippy, just nervous. With this in mind we would recommend no small children or hectic households. They are all used to other dogs and a confident doggy companion in the home would be great. You can apply now will be able to go home mid February

Story
🐾 Meet Goofy — The Silly, Sweetheart Star of the Disney Crew! 🐾 Straight outta Mississippi, Goofy and his Disney siblings (including the fabulous Minnie Mouse) started life as strays… but don’t let that fool you. These pups are so adorable, they could’ve easily been mistaken for runaway cartoon characters who wandered off the set. Goofy lives up to his name in the best possible way. He’s the class clown of the bunch — the pup who trips over his own paws, gets the zoomies for absolutely no reason, and then looks at you like, “Did you see that? Pretty cool, right?” His goofy antics will keep you laughing, and his sweet snuggles will keep your heart full. This boy LOVES his doggie friends, loves playtime, and loves being part of the action. Older kids? He’ll charm them. Adults? He’ll win them over. Other dogs? Instant buddies. He’s basically a walking, wagging happiness machine. Goofy will need puppy obedience training, continued socialization, and a family excited to help him grow into the confident, well‑mannered gentleman he’s destined to be. A fenced yard would be his dream playground — perfect for zoomies, silly spins, and whatever other nonsense he invents on the spot. Under all that silliness is a heart of pure gold. Goofy is loving, gentle, and ready to show the world just how sweet a once‑stray pup can be. He and his siblings are all soft souls who deserve the best life has to offer. Let’s show Goofy what a real family feels like — one that laughs with him, loves him, and cheers him on as he grows. 💛 Apply today to bring Goofy home — your daily dose of joy, comedy, and cuddles awaits. If interested in Goofy, please apply online: ADOPTION APPLICATION or email us at Info.FetchingHeartsRescue@gmail.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all dogs adopted through Fetching Hearts have received the following before being available for adoption: Thorough veterinary examination. All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP Bordatella (Kennel Cough) Heartworm Test Fecal Test, Deworming Microchip Flea and Tick Prevention Heartworm Prevention. Spay/Neuter All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. VETTING NOTE: Fetching Hearts Rescue completely vets our dogs thoroughly to the best of our knowledge based on communication with our Southern Vets. If anything is brought to our attention, we treat the dog. After adopting the dog, you will be responsible for following up with all vetting going forward. 🌿 Meet Ivy — A Gentle Soul Ready to Bloom 🌿 Sweet little Ivy is making her way from Mississippi, where she and her sister Elsa found themselves in a shelter after a tough start to life. Despite everything she’s been through, Ivy’s heart remains soft, hopeful, and full of love just waiting for the right person to receive it. This petite pup has a gentle spirit and a calm presence that makes you want to scoop her up and promise her the world. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow, a soft-eyed sweetheart, and a pup who will adore you with her whole being, Ivy is ready to meet you. She’s had a rough beginning, but with the right family, her story can finally turn into the happy one she deserves. 💕🐶 Let Ivy show you how beautiful trust can be. Apply for the sweetheart today!!!
