Kingston and his sister were surrendered to a shelter when their owner couldn't take them with them. He may bark when you walk in, but he’s just asking for pets! Once you sit down, he’ll try to climb right into your lap. Friendly, outgoing, but headstrong, this happy guy quickly won over his foster home. He does great with other dogs and cats and is deeply bonded with his sister, Paris, who he lovingly protects. They must be adopted together. Kingston isn’t a fan of being picked up and the vet says he could stand to lose a couple pounds, and still needs some help with potty training—but his affectionate nature makes up for it all. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lillian came to the shelter after she was found running loose. No one ever came forward to claim her so she's now up for adoption. We think she's a Pomeranian but she could be mixed with maybe American Eskimo. She's a bouncy and perky gal and we think she's around 3 years old. She will be vet checked and spayed on June 17th and her fee is $150.  Lillian is a princess and wants a home that will treat her as such. She can be a tiny bit shy at first but warms up quickly. She is pretty well mannered and seems to have had a little basic training. We do think she would be okay with other smaller dogs. Kids over 5 would be best. She will require regular grooming to keep her looking fabulous as she has a very thick, luxurious coat. NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.
