You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!         Snoop Dog is a tiny, energetic Chihuahua mix puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves playing, wrestling, and exploring with his brother Bad Bunny, and he can spend ages rough&#226&#128&#145housing before happily melting into your arms for a snuggle. He’s sweet, affectionate, and full of classic puppy curiosity. Snoop is still very much a baby — he’s learning the world one day at a time. He loves to chew (gently!) on anything he can find, so having plenty of toys is a must. He’s making steady progress with potty training and does well when kept on a routine. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, though during the day he may bark if he sees people and feels left out. He’s a sensitive little guy who just wants to be included. Because he’s small, skittish in new situations, and a flight risk, Snoop requires a fully secure fenced yard with no gaps he could slip through. He’s also still learning how to walk on a leash and needs a properly fitted harness so he can’t wiggle out. He freezes on leash for now, but with patience and gentle practice, he’ll gain confidence. Snoop is very interested in the resident cat — he barks at the cat out of curiosity, not aggression — but hasn’t had close interactions yet. He’s great with other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion. In fact, he would be over the moon to be adopted with his brother Bad Bunny, though it’s not required. Snoop is playful, goofy, affectionate, and eager to please. He’s a sweet little buddy who will make a wonderful companion for someone patient, gentle, and ready to guide him as he grows. With love, structure, and another dog to show him the ropes, Snoop Dog will blossom into the loyal, cuddly best friend he’s meant to be. **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.  T his puppy requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours, or your application will be considered void.  We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion.   Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.  Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is to place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application. We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward. ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!         Bad Bunny is a bouncy, joyful Chihuahua mix puppy who lives up to his name in the cutest way — full of hops, wiggles, and playful energy. He’s an affectionate, sweet little guy who loves attention, loves to play, and loves cuddling once he’s had his fun. He and his brother Snoop Dog are inseparable playmates, and he’d thrive in a home with another friendly dog. Like any young puppy, Bad Bunny is curious about everything and loves to explore. He’ll happily chew on toys and safe items, and while he does put things in his mouth, he’s gentle and hasn’t destroyed anything so far. With plenty of toys and supervision, he stays busy and content. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, cuddly pup who will bring joy and laughter into your home, Bad Bunny is ready to hop right into your heart — and maybe bring his brother along too. **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Frenchi is distinquished older lady who knows her worth! She’s smart, polite, and only barks when she has something important to say, like needing to go outside, wanting back in, or asking for help if she’s stuck somewhere. Frenchi enjoys relaxing and sleeping near other dogs, though she prefers calm companions and doesn’t appreciate playful energy in her face. If another dog gets too close, she delivers her signature “warning sound”—a dramatic mix between a snarl, cough, scream, and reprimand—to request some personal space. It sounds fierce, but Frenchi is truly all talk and no action. While she’s not a big fan of being picked up, she loves being close to her people and happily snoozes next to you on the couch or in your lap once she’s settled. She also enjoys following her foster mom around the house to keep tabs on things. Frenchi is fully potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, does well in a crate, and is highly food motivated—making her both a joy to live with and easy to love. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Clayton, oh Clayton. This little guy was completely shut down when we first got him. He’d just curl up in a ball in his little donut bed and disappear (I think that was the point!). But look at him now: His ears just stand straight out seeking attention. Someone come cuddle meeee! His main goal in life isn’t toys. It isn’t barking at the squirrels outside or people passing by. It’s snuggling right next to his person. And finding the best hoodie to wear for the day Clayton is a low-energy, affectionate companion who will make someone a very happy doggo owner. Because Clayton’s main goal in life is to achieve Best Snuggler status, it is recommended that Clayton go to a home with someone who is home and available to him or has another canine companion his size to keep him company. A few facts about Clayton: Clayton comes to you housetrained - no accidents! He will also use potty pads, if needed. It is unknown how Clayton behaves on a leash. Maybe you could try it out with him? Clayton doesn’t currently show any interest in toys. That is something that could develop down the road. Kennel training: He’s so low energy and so well behaved, there has been zero need to kennel this boy! Children and cats: He has not been exposed to children or cats, but thoughts are he would do fine with both. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.  ##2653853##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $500 plus taxSancho is a sweetheart who just needs a wee confidence boost. He is a new arrival and we are still getting to know him. We will continue to update his bio as we learn more about this charming little chi-weenie! It's been a few days and Sancho has had ZERO accidents in the house and his kennel! He doesn't give a signal that he needs to go outside, yet. He is Not a marker. He is a little king though, and as such, he needs his entourage to accompany him when going potty. Otherwise, he won't step outside. But hey, at least he's not a flight risk!   Sancho is doing great with the resident small dog and is unbothered by the neighbors barking/fence charging dogs, both big and little. He walks well on a leash, and does great in the car. He does not appear to know any commands, tricks, or his name. We enjoy training and will work on this. Sancho sleeps in a kennel in our bedroom. He whines for a minute and then sleeps quietly though the night. He does not want to go into the kennel, and I would Not consider him kennel trained. We will start kennel training him.   Sancho can jump a 2ft. baby gate - I've seen him do it. ~Somehow~ he is getting over a 3ft. baby gate. Despite getting into areas we were trying to restrict, he has been a very good boy and has not taken, gotten into, eaten, or destroyed ANYTHING!   Sancho does a appear to have some separation anxiety from his designated safe person. This manifests as: pacing, whining, scaling baby gates, sitting waiting in front of the door you exited from, watching out the window for you, & not eating when you're gone. We are going to work on fixing this using Susan Garrett's FRIDA Method. (Free video on YouTube!)   Sancho is currently a little nervous in general. Some examples: if you move too fast he may startle. He is unsure about pets, but but likes to cuddle. He will bark a little, and sometimes growl, when new people knock and enter the house - it's fear, not aggression. I expect this will improve as we build up his confidence. He is an easy dog, just needs a little training.
