Hi there, I'm Nick Furry, the resilient 3-year-old, 13lb Chihuahua mix with a heart of gold. I was most likely hit by a car and I was in desperate need of medical treatment when I was saved from the shelter. I had one injured eye removed and an injured leg that required surgery. I’m still building back muscle in my leg so I hold it up sometimes, but nothing slows Nick Furry down! I’m just as happy and playful as any dog you’ve ever met. I’m now on a search for my forever family from my foster home in Coldwater, Michigan.I absolutely LOVE playing with other dogs, but I am not a big fan of cats. I also love people - curling up in your lap or in your bed for a cuddle is my favorite thing! And I’m all about those belly rubs and my toys! I would do well with respectful children. I prefer a fully fenced-in yard, but it isn’t a dealbreaker as long as you take me on lots of walks! I’m housebroken and crate-trained, though I don’t need to be crated, I can be trusted to be left out.I’m fully-vetted and ready to come home with you for an adoption fee of $300. Questions? Our pets are located in Mt.Airy, NC until adopted. We can transport to your area or one of north eastern delivery stops. We have a cost effective transporter who delivers every other week up north. DAISY is 3 years old as of 4-26-24. She's a precious people loving girl. She is good with children and adults alike. She is ok with other dogs and she likes cats. She's a lap dog and loves to be cuddled. She will go to her new home spayed, current on all vaccines, heartworm lyme tested negative and on preventives. She is microchipped. I adopted Sean as a puppy, he's 3 years old and a precious ,quirky, funny little dog who loves both his time alone and his cuddles. Sean needs to be an only pet. I need to re-home him because he starts fights with other dogs in my home. and I'm worried for his and my other dogs safety. He's been around my older kids and loves them , has also been around babies and toddlers and has done well. He is a precious little dog, my favorite really, I just want to find him a loving home where he is safe and cared for.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Blaze!  *His adoption fee is $150.00.  *He is believed to be a 5 year old Chihuahua mix.*Blaze is a very lovable dog.*He has been well behaved at his foster home.*Blaze can be a bit fearful at first and needs some time to warm up to new surroundings.*He is not potty trained but working on it.*Blaze is a velcro pup!  He loves to be by your side and suffers from separation anxiety.*When left alone Blaze does howl.  For this reason he would probably NOT be suitable for an apartment environment.*We believe he would be best suited for someone who works from home or who is retired.*It has been recommended that Blaze get a full dental cleaning sometime in the near future.*The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. Best girl around!She came with Lilly. She's a 14 year old and the sweetest thing. She likes everyone immediately. She has lost all her teeth and I found out today all naturally 😳😭.
