Meet Cleo! Cleo is a 10-year-old Chihuahua–Miniature Pinscher mix weighing about 12 pounds — the perfect little companion for your lap and your heart. This sweet girl was surrendered to our local shelter and is now safe in foster care, waiting patiently for her forever home. Cleo is a total lovebug who just wants to be cuddled and adored. She listens well, loves to snuggle in your lap, and has a calm, gentle nature that makes her a joy to have around. She currently lives with other dogs and does very well with them. She hasn’t lived with cats or children, so we’re not sure how she would do, but her sweet temperament suggests she might adjust well with proper introductions. Cleo is a smart little lady who already knows a few commands such as “come,” “no,” and “leave it.” She hasn’t used a crate in her foster home and has had very few potty accidents — she’s doing great with her house manners! Cleo would fit beautifully in almost any home — whether you’re a single person looking for a loyal companion or a family wanting a gentle, affectionate addition. She can be a little vocal when meeting new people (she likes to say hello in her own way!) but quickly warms up once she knows she’s among friends. Although a fenced yard is preferred, it’s not a dealbreaker for this little lady — what she really needs is someone who will love her, keep her safe, and make her feel like part of the family. Sweet dog needs a lot of attention probably someone who can be home all the time with her or can take her where they go. Not the best with pottying outside but will use a puppy pad. Good with my niece when she visits. Haven’t tested with cats. She loves to cuddle and is super playful with toys and loves to tug. Overall sweetheart of a dog.
