Meet Bobbi—also known as Bob, Bob-Bob, Bobbi Jo, and the adorable “Bobbi Go-Go” (courtesy of a 4-year-old who couldn’t quite say the J sound) Bobbi is an approximately 13-year-old Chihuahua weighing in at a petite 11 pounds, and she would like everyone to know that age is just a number. Sure, she’s a senior—but she still has opinions, personality, and plenty of love left to give. Bobbi is a sweet little girl who needs a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and settled. She can be fearful of new people and situations at first, so patience and understanding go a long way with her. Once she trusts you, though, she becomes a loyal little companion who just wants to be near her people. She would do best in an adult-only home without children. Bobbi gets along with other dogs just fine, but too much excitement can cause her to cough, so she would be happiest as the only dog in the home where life can stay peaceful and low-key. She does okay with cats and is respectful of calm feline friends. Bobbi’s greatest passion in life? Stuffies. She absolutely loves stuffed toys and takes her collection very seriously. She also enjoys going outside, gentle play, chewing on antlers, and any activity that might involve snacks. If food is involved, Bobbi is immediately interested. What Bobbi needs most is someone willing to let her move at her own pace and enjoy her golden years in comfort and peace. In return, you’ll get a tiny best friend with a tender heart, funny little quirks, and an undeniable love for the simple things in life. If your idea of happiness is sharing your home with a quiet little shadow carrying around a stuffed toy, Bobbi might just be your perfect match. Charlie just turned 3 years old — a birthday she spent, once again, behind the walls of the shelter she’s called home for almost a year and a half. 🥀She’s a beautiful Rottweiler/Retriever mix with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul… but you’ll have to earn the chance to see that side of her. Charlie struggles with meeting new people — the world hasn’t always been kind to her — but if someone could just give her a few chances, visit her a couple of times, sit quietly nearby and let her heart unfold on its own… they’d find the most loyal, gentle, loving dog waiting underneath the fear. 💔Once she trusts you, she’s pure sunshine — a snuggly, kiss-giving, tail-wagging angel who will follow you anywhere. She walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, and loves to stretch her legs running around the yard before curling up in a soft bed or a pile of blankets. She doesn’t care much for toys — she just wants love, safety, and someone to finally stay. 🐾Charlie has done well with some dogs here, but she takes her time getting comfortable — both with people and other pets. She’d do best in a quiet, low-traffic home with no young kids or cats.She’s a staff and volunteer favorite because we’ve seen the real her — the dog that greets you with kisses, melts into your lap, and looks at you like you’re her entire world. 🌙We keep telling her that her person is out there. That someone will see past the nerves and realize what a once-in-a-lifetime dog she truly is. Meet woody!! He is a chihuahua. His est birth date is 6/26/2016. He weighs almost 13lbs. He is fixed and UTD on all shots and micro chipped. Woody was found wondering the streets of Columbus and was taken to the shelter there until he came to us.He is thriving in his foster home now. He is extremely loving, playful and well mannered little guy. He really enjoys being outside and does really well on a leash. But anything that goes over his head like a harness does make him nervous. So a vest type harness is best for him.Does well with kids 10 yrs and older. With Woody being a little on the older side. He does have some arthritis is his back legs. He is currently on inflammation meds for that. Woody is in a foster home that is located in Urbana Ohio. His adoption fee is $300.
