You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.$450 adoption fee (available 6/18) Stitch is a sweet 2-year-old Chihuahua mix, weighing in at 15 pounds of pure cuteness! This shy little guy is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place, but he’s making wonderful progress every day. With a little patience and lots of love, Stitch is starting to open up and show his gentle, affectionate side. He’s doing great with his potty manners and gets along well with other dogs. While he may need a bit of coaxing at first, Stitch has already shown that he enjoys lap cuddles and truly wants to be close to his people. Give him some time, encouragement, and a safe place to land, and Stitch will blossom into the sweetest, most loyal companion—your quiet little shadow who just wants to be near you. New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
