Baby Bat has lived with his foster and her dog pack for 5 years, he gets along with them but tolerates them at most. He would do well in a home where he is the only dog, no children, and adults only. Next, Baby Bat is an apex predator. Which means he needs his sleep and food and not to be interrupted or coddled when given either. Baby Bat is not a lap or cuddly dog. Now I am part of the cool kids ;) no hair loss, yeast infection, poor nutrition for me!!!! I am not "hoping" for food today, I have more than I need:) my foster family is just the best! So here are a few facts about me; I am great with other dogs and love a doggy friend in my furever home..no felines though...they r not my favorite friends.... I am looking forward to having my own family, one that will commit to me furever. I ended up in rescue because my mom had to go to a nursing home and none of the family wanted to take care of me...... so here I am looking for you! Don't make me wait too long!! ROMAN NEEDS A HOME~ Roman is brother to Princess. He is 3 1/2, almost 4 in May. He is a little Chihuahua looking dog. He has shitzu in his DNA. He wants to be alpha and should probably not go to a home with other male dogs. He is very scared of a lot of things. He likes attention but needs to be the one that comes to you. He doesn't like leashes. But if you want to take him on a walk, then you have to let him lead you. We lead him to walk with a treat, and then he starts going on his own. We have to go where he wants to go without pulling on the leash. He is very skittish. But once he is used to you, he loves you. (Princess is his sister - Hopes Haven dog)

Gomez 1 year, neutered male, 10 lb Chihuahua mix LIKES: Blankets, spooning, TOUCHING HIS PERSON AT ALL TIMES, food, driving around in the car as the copilot. DISLIKES: Being alone, finding himself in strange places, rain & cold. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Gomez is the ultimate Velcro baby. He loves to be carried around and to snuggle super close in bed. His foster mom even puts him in a Moby to do chores. Gomez gives the sweetest little kisses and he's so soft to pet. He'll gladly roll over for belly rubs or snuggle into your neck once he knows you! POTTY TRAINING STATUS: Potty trained. CRATE TRAINING STATUS: Crate trained, although he will fuss if he's in there while you're sitting nearby. EXTRAS/MISC.:  Gomez is prone to a bit of panic when he's in a new house, and for that reason we will require his new home to be secure. This means solid fences, no escape routes, and crating when he's alone. He quickly gets over this as he attaches to his new family, but we just need to make sure he's safe until he gets there. We'd also like his new home to be within the main Eugene/Springfield metro area so that his foster can get there quickly if anything happens.
